Very nice piece of minimal industrial design, despite some of the bonkers reviews (not heavy enough..???), it works just fine, GENTLY position your MacBook in place, GENTLY lift it out again. It holds your expensive laptop perfectly. The 'slot' is lined with soft-touch silicone rubber to cushion the MacBook. Be aware it has a 'front' and a 'back' - the slot is shaped to house the slightly different contour of the lid and the underside of the MacBook. £43 on desertcart, £50 on Apple.com!!! Very nice box tho'....

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but overpriced!

Looks good & holds the MacBook well - very sturdy, no issues. With a case on the MBP I had to swap for one of the included inserts, but found it still works well. The reason for docking a star? Most of the price must be in the packaging - I'm glad it arrived safely, but the premium unboxing experience is over the top for a simple laptop stand.
