HPO Men's Head Mechanical Genius Curly Mustache Multiple Color Options (Brown)

The mustache is good quality, but you need a better adhesive like spirit gum, for the mustache to stick properly. If you use this strip, be sure to clear your upper lip of any oils to improve adhesion. the adhesive doesn't stick super well to the back of the mustache, either unless you use the full strip. (I used a test piece because I wasn't sure what the adhesive was made from, and since it's silicone-based, I can't use the strip, so bought some spirit gum) The mustache looks good, overall, once you've fluffed it out a bit from the shipping package and spread the ends out a bit.

I had no idea what to expect with this mustache, but it's BEAUTIFUL in the most chaotic way possible. It's thick and defies gravity amazingly. The hairs are a little itchy, but it's a small sacrifice to make. Straight out of the bag, the sticky tape on the back is VERY sticky. I think I ripped some of my own hairs off my upper lip taking it off, even after the second and third try-ons. It's beginning to lose its stickiness after playing with it so much, but it STILL stays on and I could easily use some spirit gum or even eyelash glue to help hold it in the future. LOVE IT

My son needed a fake mustache for his Halloween costume this year. He went out as Dr. Robotnic. The mustache wasn't advertised as being for this character but was close enough and we ordered it for him. Other than poor adhesion to his lip and falling off occasionally, the mustache worked great and he ultimately was pleased with it's costume look.

The adhesive strip stuck to the backing of the package and we had to figure out an alternative to make our Halloween costumes work. Looked great once it was on but it was incredibly irritating to figure something out last minute and even then it didn’t stay on for more than 30 minutes…..

This is the perfect Mustache for your Dr Robotnik Eggman costume. However, DO NOT rely on the adhesive strip thats given to you with the package. I did not try mine on before the event because I did not want to weaken the supplied adhesive. Unfortunately, that didnt matter anyway, as it fell off non-stop at my kids school Trunk R Treat. Perhaps if I didn't shave the mustache area of my face, the stubble would have created a better area for the adhesive to stick to? My advice would be to just purchase a cheap bottle of Spirit Gum if you are going to use this. Make-up Artists specifically use that stuff for applying fake hair, and it holds very well. Other than that, it looked great and the kids loved the overall costume.

Great stache to get the job done! The stickiness was fine but could have been better. Id recommend using eyelash glue to stick to your skin a bit better. Maybe the stickiness only wore over time because I had to use it ontop of a mask. Anyways GET THIS!

It’s exactly what I was expecting. The only thing that could make it better is having the mustache sewn on to a theatrical grade base. Great for using a few times, but it’ll be hard to clean spirit gum off of, even with spirit gum remover. STILL, I would recommend this item to anyone looking for crazy mustaches.

Looks good, and good size, but it didn’t stick for even 10 minutes. There wasn’t a strip-only a square of adhesive. For the price, expected more.
