Poly Zipper Tote Bag

From an admitted bag freak always on the prowl for just the right combination of size, # of pockets, durability, weight, price, etc., this bag hits the spot on all counts. I love it. As mentioned elsewhere, there is an odor initially, but it DOES go away in a short time. Also, I added Velcro fasteners to the two side pockets -- not really necessary, but I prefer that the pockets stay closed. I carry a LOT of items to work every day, portable hard drives, cords, chargers, calculator, thumb drives, small office supplies, portfolios, papers, folders, Kindle, etc., plus a wallet and other personal items, and this bag handles it all with ease. To address my usual "how many pockets do I need" dilemma, I purchased the Grid-It Organizer, CPG10BK (great item!), from Amazon, which fits in this bag perfectly, puts all the small things snugly in one place readily accessible, and puts the pocket problem to rest.The zipper closes easily even when the bag is stuffed. Someone mentioned that there are open areas at each end of the zipper which could allow small items to fall out. Those open areas keep the zipper from being too tight, I think, allowing it to close easily when the bag is fully loaded. My bag is put on a conveyor belt every day to be x-rayed, often gets knocked over and rolled about in the process, and so far nothing has fallen from those openings. Bottom line, this bag has gotten a workout during the two months I've had it, and is an ideal daily work tote that I highly recommend. I'm about to get at least one other color, maybe two. And what a value!

It looks great, even better than I had expected. It's fairly well made, had handles long enough that I can put it over my shoulder and color is bright (red). Size (lying flat) 15.25" wide, 11.125" high, 4.5" deep. The inside is lined in black. It's going to suit my needs well.There are pockets on all four sides. One thing I didn't understand from the reviews was the "gap" at top on the edge of both sides when the zipper is closed. It's a pretty large space--as wide as the bag is deep and items (like a cell phone, keys or pens) could easily slide out. However, inside the tote is a flat zippered pouch that is about 8" wide x 5" high which would be a good place to put those items. I am including a pic of the sides at the top of the bag to better explain what I meant about the gap. Looking at how it's made, I don't see how this could have been resolved because if the flap was attached to the sides, I think it would limit how you would put items into it. Also, because it's not attached, the flap where the zipper is lays down nicely if you just like an open top. I think on of the reviewers mentioned adding velcro and that might be a good solution. I would recommend this tote if you are aware of the gap on the edges of the top and aren't concerned about it.

It's a very good slim size and decent quality. Not the most rugged but should last with moderate care. Am using it specifically as a laptop bag for a 13-inch chromebook (no padding in the bag itself but it's roomy enough to fit the laptop enclosed in a 14-inch felt laptop envelope-sleeve).Only qualm is while there is a zipper over the top covering/protecting most of the content of the bag if it is raining there is a small gap/opening on the 2 short sides at the top of the bag. Basically the zipper is attached to 2 flaps on each side of the bag at the top that run the length/long side of the bag but the 2 short sides of the flaps are not attached to the bag so the sides are open.However I do like that the straps are attached and run down the full sides of the bag to the bottom -- makes it more durable, reinforces the bag, and distributes the stress to the handles better. Many straps end and are just attached near the top and it puts more strain to the top portion of the bag making it rip more easily.

I needed a bag to carry all the class supplies I'd need for about 15 young students at the weekend school. So the criteria was a tote bag with a zipper which would be durable enough for use with heavy materials in it. I can easily fit all the students' folders, crayons, markers, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, construction paper, plain papers, post it notes, dry erase markers, etc along with my wallet, phone, water bottle and a couple of composition books. I love this bag.This is a great size, its not bulky, looks very good, perfect for my organization needs and zips close. This is exactly what I needed. I deducted one star because the zipper's stitch is starting to come off after about a month's use, but I have little kids who are always curious about what's in it.. so at this price, I didn't plan to use it roughly. It holds a lot of heavy stuff without giving me a back ache, that's important for me. The stitching is an easy fix for a product that matches my needs and is versatile.

I bought this to contain my current yarn working project. I loom knit and it's perfect to hold the loom and the yarn and the tools that I need that I'm currently working with. the bag itself is light and sturdy the zipper is functional and it does not stick there's a pocket on the inside. pockets on the outside on either side of the bag. The straps seems strong and durable for what I need it for. all in all the bag is perfect.

I use this bag to carry most of my binders and books, and they fit perfectly- this bag isn't too big or too small. It holds everything pretty easily, and I love the fact that it has so many pockets! (I love pockets... don't judge)The only reason I gave it four stars was because when the bag arrived, the fabric that the main zipper was attached to was kind of torn. It only took me a minute to sew it back together, and you can't even notice it anymore. But the main reason I docked a point was because the zipper in the tiny pocket inside the bag broke off, and it took me some time and patience to get it back on.But other than those minor issues, this would be a great bag for almost anything, and I definently recommend it!
