Each light asks for three AA batteries, mini screws for application as well as very sticky double sided tape as an alternative (similar to nano-tape). They stick VERY WELL, so make sure you're super sure about the positioning before applying it to the wall. It's made of plastic and the cover is a twist on/off — it's not very weak or strong, it's exactly what's expected. Some users say the lights last up to four hours, although I'm not sure because I don't keep them on 24/7. They're palm sized but bright. And if they're not too far from each other, the remote could turn them all on at once. Otherwise, you have to point it to the specific light for it to work. They're super useful at 4AM when my eyes are sensitive and could only handle low lights. The colors are distinct; you could choose one color or a rotation of all the colors. you could also dim/brighten the light + set it on a timer. In one of my photos, you could see the difference of a very bright flashlight attached to a drill (left side) versus the light on the white, brightest setting (right side).
