I liked this dinosaur because it appealed to my 6 year old grandson, who is fascinated with dinosaurs at this stage of his life. He was thrilled with it, and that made it all the more wonderful.

My kids actually got this for me for Father's Day. It was a blast building it with them and the fact I was able to let each kid pick which dinosaur to build made it fun for everyone. It's a great Lego set that provides a lot of versatility and always something new to build and play with.

My son was so excited to open these Christmas morning. He loved that he could build so many different dinos with one set.

I have a 5-yr old daughter and we spend a lot of time doing legos together. We have several of the 3-in-1 Creator sets, including the dinosaur set. My wife saw this set and we took a flyer and bought it--not Lego, but still looked cool. We've since built 3 of the 6 models. Here are my thoughts:1. The designs of the dinosaurs are more complicated, larger, and cooler than the Lego options2. It's great to be able to build more than one out of the same kit. I can't speak for all combinations, but so far, so good.3. Block quality seems pretty good. It may not be as good as Lego, but it's close enough4. Some of the more advanced parts (like hip joints) are different in this set than Lego. Maybe patent issue? But this kit is still pretty good.5. As noted elsewhere, the instructions are not nearly as good as Lego and sometimes confusing. My daughter can do most of it on her own, but some of the more advanced stuff requires help. It doesn't help that there's an insert revision to the instructions that you have to refer to on some steps. And some of the ball and socket joints don't have full explanation in the instructions, making it confusing even for an adult.But overall, if you're willing to put some effort into it, the builds are really good. Bigger and more involved than the Lego creator set. Yes, it's confusing at times. But figuring things out is what building things is all about.Overall, we've had a great time with the set and I'd recommend it to others.

This dino kit was for my grandsons 10th birthday. He loves anything Dino’s so to put this kit together was something he enjoyed doing.
