Return of the Eagles Kindle Edition

I always feel a little bit let down and deflated at the end of a good story, I think it's because I want it to continue. That is certainly how I feel at the moment. For me at least, authors, that weave fact and fiction into a page turner are my favourite type. I have to say Follett falls into this category, he has gripped my imagination and left me wanting more.

Found by mistake but what a new treasure trove of new reads especially with my Kindle unlimited.Will continue to keep one in my library as I like to vary my topics

Its a story based on a true story .There was a Polish submarine which escaped from the Baltic - The under hand story of how the Lithuanians almost gave the sub to the Germans in exchange for a bribe - the fact the crew would have been given to the NKVD and murdered ,,The twists and turns.Great story..

Whilst I like this book in all honesty I read it to finish off the trilogy having read the other two books over ten years ago

A little and seldom considered part in history of WW2, affecting the lives of many persons in this well constructed story, masterfully written by James Follet, is a quite thrilling "Read" It makes you think.

Good follow up and easy to read

There where so many errors in the language and spelling. It ruined the read. Do the publishers not check for English and spelling or do they rely on a computer which can not differentiate between for example To,Too and Two.They are either too disinterested or in too much of a hurry to bother.Howard.dean@sky

The final instalment of a trio of books well worth reading. The thread running through this series provides an on going question of how much is true and how much is imagined.Best to start at the first book and follow them through yo understand the interaction of the characters.
