I own the vinyl, purchased when first released, and it is worn. I had been waiting for the CD and really enjoy the digital version. I bought this album because, as a very young man, I heard the live broadcast of "Knockin on Heaven's Door" on WEBN in Cincinnati. I was awe struck then by the power and magic of the performance. I am awestruck every time I listen to it now.

I owned the album over 20 years ago. Glad to find it on cd. Only other version that comes close to this in my view is a reggae one.

A beautiful instrumental album except for one song. Brilliant guitar work and considering its age a damn good recording. Good driving music too. Well worth a listen.

this company rescues old albus and reissues them on cd . its a very needed service for old music buffs like me

One of the truly under appreciated musicians of our time. Knockin on Heaven's Door is worth the price alone, but I love the whole package. His rendition ranks up there with my other favorite cover, which you should check out, Brook Benton's Rainy night in Georgia.

If you only got it for the best, most passionate version of 'knockin' on heaven's door." ....as The Who says....I call this a bargin, the best I ever had.He almost melts the guitar strings on this song. The whole album is a hidden Jewel...trust me...and you'll thank your lucky stars you discovered Pete Carr.He's played with Bob Seger, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Hank Williams, Wilson Pickett, Gregg and Duane Allman, and many more.
