These really do save your bike! They did exactly what they were suppose to do my bike tipped last year and they kept my bike from getting damaged and all that happened to the bars was some scratches that's it! Great product and even better quality.

I mounted these on a 2019 Honda Rebel 300. The installation was easy, only a few bolts per side. It is a glossy black which contrasts with the satin finish of the frame. So, I scuffed up the powder coat and painted it before installing. I think that they look good and seem sturdy enough for this small motorcycle. Also, it gave me a place to mount some pod lights that should help with visibility.

Only good thing about it is the bars were fully painted everything else is an engineering abortion. It sits WAYYY to high on the bike all the nuts and bolts provided will rust easily. Nothing lined up accurately. The bars were bent wrong so they can't even fully seat into each other. There's no place for the horn to get reattached and absolutely no instructions. The top screws are too long and even so I could not get them tight enough for it to not move on the bar so say bye bye to it in a crash. If anything it adds an extra hazard and damage to everything. If I haven't mentioned it yet there are absolutely no instructions so maybe I'm supposed to bend bars and make other modifications for this to work properly but I'm not convinced it would even be worth it to make it actually work and be safe. Even for looks this is garbage. Nobody needs this much nonsense in their life.

Completed in 40 minutes, and I know nothing of motorcycles. My daughters 2023 Rebel 300 guard went on as follows:Needed:• 14mm wrench or ratchet to remove engine mount bolt.• 15mm open end wrench to install new engine mount bolt.o (a ratchet did not clear the guard, so I used an open end wrench)• 4mm allen wrench to install clamps• 3mm allen wrench to tighten set screw• Needle nose vice grips to hold opposing nut on engine mount bolt• Hammer (of pretty much any sort)Procedure:1) Remove the engine mount bolt by chasing it through the mounts with the rod provided. It is important to note that this bolt supports the weight of the motor on the frame, so it is important to NOT simply pull the stock rod out. Chase it through the mounts by lightly tapping the rod provided. It did not require much force, just light taps. Do not let both motor mounts go unsupported at the same time. Tap the rod through until it is even on both sides of the bike.2) Position the left and right guards on the motor. The guard has two holes. I used the one closer to the bottom of the guard so it clears the cooling fan a little more. But either hole would probably work.3) Thread the nut on both sides. Leave it very loose. Just catch 2 or 3 threads.4) Make sure the left and right guard are connected in the middle. Do not tighten the set screw yet.5) On one side place the upper mounting clamps on the frame. Observe the clamps are either threaded or non-threaded. Place the threaded ones towards the front of the bike.6) Thread the 4mm screws through the clamps. Leave it very loose. Simply catch a few threads so the screw stays in place.7) Do the same for the clamps on the other side of the bike.8) Tighten the 15mm bolts until the surfaces are mated. Torque is perhaps one half “ooga-booga”.9) Tighten the 4mm bolts in cycles. Go to bolt 1 tighten lightly, then go to bolt 2, 3 and 4.10) Then tighten the 15mm motor mount bolts to full torque, perhaps 3 or 4 “ooga-boogas”.11) Then tighten the 4mm bolts again in series to about 2 “ooga-boogas”12) Tighten the 3mm set screw to about 1 “ooga booga”.

I have gone down low speed into a car at 3omph, saved my engine and frame! The bars bent but it saved most of the stuff so thats what mattered. It was easy to install, some parts didn't line up as easily but it was manageable. The long rod that goes through the engine was machined a little off and a little long, but a few washers fixed that. It looks great and works fine for what it is.

It does not come with instructions to assist if it's your first time doing this also it dosent come with anything to protect the motorcycle from scratching so you need to be extra carefull when installing. Besides this it does look and feels well for the price.

The media could not be loaded. The bars are solid and straightforward to install. I used four basic tools and some lubricant to help with the joint connection.They offer good protection for the engine, gear shifter, and parts of the rear brake. The black coating looks sharp, though it would be even better if the hardware (nuts and bolts) matched in black.Installation Steps:1. Support the engine (I used an auto jack placed underneath).2. Loosen the main engine bolt.3. Carefully tap out the original bolt while feeding in the new one.4. Install the left bar onto the new bolt and upper clamp brackets, but don’t fully tighten yet.5. Lubricate the joint connections.6. Install the right bar the same way; use a rubber mallet if needed to align the joint.7. Cross-tighten the bolts for a balanced fit.8. Check for even alignment across both sides.9. Tighten the joint nut using an Allen wrench.

The media could not be loaded. This crash bar fit perfect on my daughters 350 Honda rebel. Start to finish maybe 30 minutes very simple if you pay attention to where everything goes. Even though there are no instructions it’s not hard to figure out if you’re a little bit handy with tools. Everything went on nice and smooth and so far I’m very happy with it. It looks good on the bike.
