The price was good, the build quality is good, and it makes it easy to do a quick breech to muzzle cleaning at the range.

A real time saver
I switched over to these from the traditional drop through/pull bore cleaning snakes. Why? These can be threaded through the barrel much faster, and without having to orient the rifle pointing down. This means I can quickly run this through my rifle between shots without even having to take it off the bench.The design also cleans much more effectively than your traditional bore snake tool.

Great Product At The Range !!
I like to keep my rifle clear and clean at all times - I keep my ripcord with me in my bag - before I put my file back in the bag I use the rip cord several times while the barrel and muzzle are stil hot to the touch. It's easier to clear and clean residue and carbon when the rifle is hot. I just run it through from the chamber to the muzzle 3 or 4 times and it's clear.Mark C
