The best nonstick baking mat on the market. After having an incident where my 3 hour bagels recipe stuck to my parchment paper, I will never go back to using parchment paper again. They are incredibly easy to clean and I believe can go in the dishwasher. Fits my traditional baking sheets and nicely.

Works great, does what it designed to do. Washes easily. Too small for my large cookie sheets so I don’t use as frequently as parchment paper

Holy cow! You know when you're cooking cookies and they frickin' stick to the cookie sheet? Then you have to chisel them off of the cookie sheet and they leave behind fragments that no matter what you do won't come off of the cookie sheet? Well chisel no more! The Silpat has little cookie "targets" to make sure you get a full dozen cookies on your sheet and when they're done, you just slide them off. It's amazing!

If you bake a lot, or even just some, you will LOVE these things. They come in various sizes and shapes. You decide which you need. But they are the "bomb"!If you are making home made pizza, you know that it's a real pain to find a surface that the dough will not stick so much that you ruin the thing before you ever get into the oven!With a Silpat, you don't put anything on it (e.g. oil; flour; etc.) ever. You place your pizza dough right on the Silpat, put your toppings on, then slide the pizza into the oven ON the Silpat!It won't burn, it won't stick, it won't break down by using it "as it was designed to be used".If you have flat bread you are making and don't want to oil or prepare a pan that will go in the oven and to which the dough will not stick, a Silpat is the answer.When you remove whatever you baked from the Silpat, you just use mild soap and water to wipe it down...nothing sticks to it. So there is no need to ever thing you will use something abrasive - and you should not consider doing that.My recommendation is to get more than 1, perhaps a couple of different shapes for things you bake. The uses are endless.
