Wonderful germination rate. It seems to thrive in this poor clay Arkansas soil. I hope this wonderful stand of clover and chickory will come back next year.

Last year, I bought a bag of this thinking it would be a good way to help restore our property's heavy clay soil after years of abuse by prior owners, so I scattered the seeds rather willy-nilly and then promptly forgot about them. I was, therefor, most pleasantly surprised when this spring's arrival was heralded by a meadow of clover. It is so much more beautiful than a lawn and it has already really made a difference in erosion prevention during a few heavy storms, and it keeps the clay soil from drying out (as well as being a great nitrogen fixer), so all of my other plants are happy, too. The clover is choking out several of the other species of noxious weeds I had trouble with last season, saving me a lot of time and money spraying/weeding. Great germination rate!

Broadcasted seed 2 days before a rain storm and had seeds sprouting up quickly within a week. I planted an acreage of clover and have seen many deer utilizing the plot throughout the year.
