So we had this pond ...... And it started to leak..... scratching our heads on how best to salvage it we decided to scoop out all the water, fish, and pond plants .... simply placed the liner in the ready made base, which was really our old leaky pond and replaced all the water, fish and plants. So far so good ... pond liner saved our fish and pond.

Rubbish!! guarantee is for sun damage only, no underlay with it but not a big deal as i already had some, liner is basically a thick tarp didn't think it would last long but expected it to last beyond building the pond ....no such luck filled the pond & the water drained overnight!!! .....ripped it out & bought a decent epdm liner.

Made two ponds out of the one 3*3m liner.So far seems cool, happy with results. First pond for birds, larger one is for anything that wants to use it. Time will tell if it lasts. Make sure you underlay first I think good advice as product pretty thin. But coz it's thin it's light and easy to work with. I've a bit of liner showing above water level, but that my fault...as ground uneven on bigger pond. But hidden easy enough with branches. The key is to hide as much of liner as possible. One vid on you tube hides all of liner that's the thing to do as pond will look natural then.

I really appreciate this after using a cheaper pond liner which developed a leak during the very cold weather we had at the start of February. I feel reassured that Swell are a good make/are pond specialists and there's the added guarantee of 25 year guarantee. My fish are happy again!Okay update with this: I have reduced to two stars as water level keeps going down, despite weekly topping up so there is obviously another slow leek somewhere! Really disapointing, considering I only installed this in February and no I haven't been careless with installing etc I would reallylike to buy a pond liner somewhere that lasts and doesn't leak for more than a few months! I will be claming on guarantee and having to buy another. The guarantee doesn't cover the fath, the worry about the fish or my labour far too often now though!

Seems fine , pond water is still in there so no leaks so far . It’s quiet thin compared to other liners I’ve used but is fine as long as you don’t puncture it with any sharp stones . We lined the hole with soft sand first .

This liner, is very cheap but is not very pliable hence lots of creases when installed, if you just want a simple, hole in the ground pond, but as mine was fairly complicated, it was difficult to install, but once in and finished off it looked fairly good. Hard work though.

Used this after my pond water started dropping a few inches everyday.Got 5m×5m as I wanted to fold it over and have two layers as this saved my last pond when an ornament fell and cut the first liner but the second held the water in.Only been a few days but I have a fill line around the pond and it hasn't moved so pretty confident plus having it doubled gives me a bit more confidence, can't say how well it will hold up, my last liner lasted over 20 years although was double lined. Only difference if this liner is more like a dump sack with woven material but this could be a good thing Only time will tell.

Nice strong liner ,and quite manageable I managed to put it in my pond on my own , although i did have to cut a bit off as I'd orederd one a bit too big ,the only negative is that it doesn't come with underliner so had to reuse my old one .but other wise a good purchase .
