Usually I don’t write many reviews but when I am impressed with a product, it deserves mentioning. This is the second toilet seat I have purchased from Amazon….the previous was returned. This WSSROGY toilet seat was the easies I’ve ever installed. It has the option of either top mount or bottom mount. I ended up using one each of each. I started of with the bottom mount on the right ( more familiar to me) but because the way the toilet is designed I had trouble bottom mounting the left side. Included in the kit is an Expansion nut which was difficult to push through the toilet bowl. It's made with a rubber like nut. Trick is to run it under some hot water then immediately push it through the hole from the top. Shazam!! It goes in with just a little wiggle and push. From there you add the plastic adjustable washer and metal screw and snap the hinge caps in place. Done!!! Additional features I like is the soft close lid and the fact that the toilet seat opening is bigger. It also has an opening on lid front so you can lift the lid without touching the seat. Very well designed! Only negative is the fact that they didn’t suggest warming up the Expansion nut to make for an easier install. Overall…don’t hesitate to buy! Best choice!

What can I say other than it's a toilet seat? It's solid, doesn't flex, stays put, and doesn't hurt to sit on. The slow close feature is nice and holds up nicely. The instructions and ease of installation are super easy and quick! The seat is high quality, sturdy and the finish is nice and easy to clean.

I bought this to replace a solid wooden seat that was still in relatively good condition, only the paint had worn away. When I took it out of the bag, everything I needed was there. After fighting to demount the old seat, it went in pretty well, although it took me a moment, that was on me, not the product. What the product description did not say was how 'light' it was. The material is easily cleanable, but instead of a solid seat, it is molded with supports for the holes on the underside of the seat. I'm not huge, but am a larger, older, man and it's a bit spongy when I sit on it. That's my big complaint. They could have made it a solid piece of plastic and it would have worked out so much better. The slow-close feature really works well, and I am now in the process of refurbishing my old seat for the toilet. This is going to be an 'oh crap, I broke my toilet seat and have company coming' standby. It's good enough, but as I said, you get what you pay for.

It’s easy to install and easy to understand instructions. There are two options and you have all the tools for both options. Love the slow close and even if it’s plastic it’s great quality. Somehow I feel like it doesn’t get as dirty and the wooden seats. Also the actual seat makes (might be TMI) doing your business easier. The seat kind of makes you sink in a bit. The four little rubber feet underneath the seat makes it so you don’t move side to side. Great quality and worth the price!

I'm terrible at installing things, putting them together, etc.-- even something as simple and obvious as a toilet seat with its two screws and that's it. So I am very happy that this was so easy to install and went right in with no glitches (mis-threaded screws, missing hardware, etc.), but also offered multiple instructions, all totally clear. The measurements and other info in the description on Amazon also upped the odds I was right in thinking this seat would fit the toilet (can you tell I 've never replaced a toilet seat before, lol?), which proved to be the case. So, perfect fit, easy installation and I was already happy with my purchase. I'm not exactly a toilet seat connoisseur, so I don't know what else to say about it-- it's smooth and easy to clean, it doesn't wiggle around, it lifts and closes effortlessly...so as far as I can tell, it's perfect! Also, it offers two sets of hardware, so there's a choice of installing two different ways. I just chose to put it on the same way the previous one was put together, but I guess it's a plus to be offered a choice-- the way I didn't choose is probably minimally easier, but either way is a snap. So I'm happy with my choice, and glad I bought this one instead of one of the many higher-priced ones, since I can't imagine how they'd have any advantage over this one.

This item is no good every day we have to keep tightening the lid as soon as 2 people use the toilet i never had problem like this with a toilet seat it is very frustrating and i am handicap makes it even more frustrating i am trying to get some one to go and buy me one from Home Depot which i should have done in the first place
