Titan16122 Star Bit Socket Set - 13 Piece

I've used Snap-On & Mac Tools all my professional life, (53 years). These are as good as my 7 other sets of drivers. Used these hard on a difficult job when they arrived. Came through with flying colors. Unit shipped fast & was at a good price. Couldn't be happier.

The rail rocks. Nice selection of large sizes. I don't know about how sturdy in the long term but for the occasional vw cv axle they are great.If you need all day every day impact you should buy impact.

Great set of allen sockets for a reasonable price. I work on heavy equipment and occasionally need large allen head sockets. These have held up well and I have even used a few of them on my Snap On 1/2 inch impact with no problems. If I ever break one I will probably replace it with a higher quality socket but this is a great set for the money and comes on a very nice labeled magnetic holder.

The bits themselves are of great quality, heavy duty and can handle the high work load a larger bit will get. I use these to remove the axle on my motorcycle, routinely putting 75ft-lb on torque with no issue. Also, the included holder rack is a notch above what other vendors will give you which is a nice touch. I would recommended these if you need a larger assortment of hex bit sockets.

Inset hex screws are used a lot in automotive, so having a dependable set that doesn't skip sizes is important. I don't use the tray as I have my own rails, but the base is magnetic and very nice.9mm and 11mm sizes are great to have for those occasional, ridiculous Ford brake setups.....

Seems like a good set, I had the impact on one the other day and it didn't break or round off. For the $$ I am vary happy. The magnetic base is a helpful touch and holds extremely well.
