Works (with modification) with 4" can lights
I bought these disc lights without even realizing my own can lights were 4", which these were not initially made for. After removing the reflective cone in my can light, which was essentially just held up with friction, I had no clips to slide the brackets into that came with these disc lights. However, I found a very helpful workaround for 4 inch can / pot lights and here's what I did:You'll need to buy a pack of downlight housing c clips, and a pack of E26 socket adapters(this pack of lights doesn't come with them)After removing the bulb and the reflective cone, I screwed in a C clip on each side of the can, about 1inch from the bottom edge. I then screwed in the E26 adapter, which even had the exact same plug fitting size as the disc light pigtail that does come with them. For the spring brackets(which come with the disc lights), I attached one onto the 'closer' hole(from the center) of the back of the disc light and one on the 'further' hole, so that they're about 4inches apart. This allowed perfect distance to align with the C clips I had screwed in, and each light push up and was perfectly flush / against the ceiling like I had hoped. They dim very evenly and almost down to nothing, and get super bright, a big improvement from my 500lumen lights before which flickered below 40%.Would definitely recommend, in fact I'm thinking about upgrading the rest of my can lights.

Great Lights and All the Attachment Pieces You Could Want
We wanted can lights in a basement renovation where we are converting the space into a separate living unit. But code requires a 1 hour fire rated separation between living spaces. Alternatives are the very expensive fire rated boxes around airtight cans or a standard, plastic, but 2 hour fire rated, ceiling box and one of these lights. These have the same look as can lights and are bright with even light distribution. And the package includes connection parts for converting existing cans as well as connecting to standard ceiling boxes. There is even a pigtail for the can light connectors. Three lengths of screws and hole patterns for both sizes of ceiling box allow for very flexible installation. Note, as with most ceiling fixtures, there are no mounting holes to fit a rectangular duplex receptacle box. Perfect solution for us at one tenth the cost of the conventional alternative.

Caution! Get different lights on repeat ordering
Order all your lights at once. We ordered one pack of 12 and installed them without any problem. Loved the lights and were super easy to install. Decided to install them in another room and just re ordered the same exact order. The second order was the same type, size and brightness but in the months time difference they changed them. The cover is harder to get off and the wires in the back are now shorter, which makes it mor difficult to install. I can only assume they shortened the wires to save manufacturing costs. The packaging was also different from the initial order. First order was one big box. The second, each light was in an individual box like the shipper didn’t have enough to make the order and had to make it up themselves. So, do yourself a favor and just order extra even if you don’t think you’ll need them because having to install two different ones from the manufacturer sucks.

I like them, bright and easy to install, but flicker sometimes for a few seconds.
Loved the ease of install I just used drywall screws and drilled a small hole for the wires and fixed to ceiling with a couple drywall screws, didn't want 5 big holes in the ceiling plus droplight cans and all that. - I hate the occasional flickering though. I wonder if a big capacitor in the circuit would help? I wired 5 in parallel and I think when they flicker they all do it, makes me think might be something to do with incoming power varying to some degree? Yeah other than that love them, hope they last a long time.

Not a complete replacement for can lighting option
Even though there is a highlighted review of the product of these lights (shows up as the first review for me in the list) with a picture of a socket adapter, this product does not include a socket adapter. Their "helpful" instructions for a can replacement show a TP24 connector being inserted into a socket, but obviously that will not work. The rims are very big (7+ inches in diameter) and several came pre-scratched. I cant say anything about the actual light since I have to buy adapters to see them. Add about $18-24 ($1.50-$2/light) for adapters if you choose these. Next time I will buy from a hardware store, where the scam factor is lower.

DO NOT BUY.
Do not buy these lights if you plan on using them with a dimmer. I installed them and they flickered when dimmed to 50% or less. I contacted Sunco. They told me I had an unsupported dimmer. I installed a dimmer that they approved. The lights still flickered. Sunco sent me a new set of 12 lights, replaced them all with their approved dimmer switch, they still flicker. I contacted the company again. They asked for a video of the flickering. Sent that. Their response: Call an electrician. The lights are wired correctly, they are hooked to two dimmers (6 each) and they still flicker. Hiring an electrician is not the answer, the lights are defective, and Sunco will not stand behind the product.

3 out of 4 packs I pulled from the packing; are damaged
If you need to rush for a job, do not buy this. 3 out of 4 I pulled from the paper thin packing box are damaged. The rims were hit and bent. Then I checked the inside, I found their LED and the transparent cover are not as good as the other brand (which I can't disclose here). I would not suggest this product because it is not the easiest to install, plus the packing has kind of scared me...what will go wrong later because they were hit pretty hard. The only good thing about this product is the 7 years warranty.

Not worth it
The media could not be loaded. Horrible. Half the time they dont come on when you hit the switch. Some are dim and you have to wait or switch off and on. Some time flickering like a strobe. Never buy again

Buen acabado y luminosidad
