Great read, I throughly enjoyed reading this book, lots of info about the Gullah/Geechee language, made me chuckle a few times as I too can relate to this culture. This pocket guide is a must have to add to your book collection

This was a great book for understanding the history of the Gullah Geechee culture and language. I finally got the chance to see where some of the language that my grandparents used originated and why it was created.

Easy, quick, fun, and informative read. I grew up in the Charleston area so this book took me down memory lane at certain points. Loved it.

It’s very informative about the Gullah language and culture. I bought it to prepare for my upcoming trip to South Carolina. The book size could have been larger - little book guide!
