Basic home tools to have
The zipper on the bag did not hold up for a week. This tools is not for heavy duty use but it works for some light work in the house. Still a good buy!

GREAT for basics or first-timers/Not good for professionals
REVIEW DISCLOSURE:In no way, shape, or form am I a handy man expert. I'm just your typical "keeping up with the maintenance" homeowner and only recently getting into DIY projects. I made my purchase in 2019 and I feel now i have had it long enough to review. Hope this helps!DRILL/CHARGER/BATTERY:All of these work great and perform the job as needed. I couldn't tell you how long the battery last or how long it takes to charge. But I have yet to do something to where the battery dies on me. All are great for basic maintenance and beginners. Tip: i recommend the impact driver if you plan on doing a LOT of work or if you're into woodworking. Makes life easier.STORAGE BAG/TAPE MEASURE:The storage bag is pretty cheaply made and tore around the top zipper linings fairly quickly. I still have the bag but, overall, its plain (no pockets or anything) and its weak. The tape measure, I think, is also cheaply made but I guess because of its size it feels somewhat sturdy. Its not a long tape and it's not "TOO" flimsy but it also does the smaller jobs as needed.PLIERS & ADJUSTABLE WRENCH:I haven't really used the adjustable wrench but I know its pretty tiny. Not sure how useful it would be or if it will break on you. The needle nose pliers work great and get the job done as needed. Recently, the slip joint pliers came apart on me but I was able to put it back together. Its pretty sturdy and was working fine for a long time but I would say its pretty cheap if you plan on using it alot or are a pro.UTILITY KNIFE/HAMMER:The hammer is strong, sturdy, and gets the job done as needed. I think its just a bit smaller than most other hammers sold individually but it'll get basic jobs done. And it feels like it will last. The utility knife is pretty flimsy and the locking mechanism comes off fairly easily. I still have it. Hardly use it, but if you plan on using it a lot I recommend get a higher quality individual one elsewhere.SCREWDRIVING BITS/DRILL BITS/NUTDRIVERS/MAGNETIC BIT HOLDER/SPADE BITS/HOLE SAWS:The screwdriving bits work great. If your basic, or even a hobbyist, they will last. The general purpose drill bits work just fine too. I used about 3 different sizes and the smaller ones broke on me but I would say it was after a fair amount of time using them. Plus i extensively used them recently getting into woodworking as a hobby. I've yet to use spade bits or hole saws. They seem to be ok and pretty sturdy. I feel they will last but not sure how they will cut/drill. The nut drivers and magnetic bit holder work just fine and get basic jobs done.SCREWDRIVERS:I saved the worst for last. THESE THINGS SUCK. The rachet screwdriver broke on first use. I didn't even drop it. I was simply applying "typical" pressure and some mechanism snapped. Idk if its repairable but it happened a long time ago. I remember being angry but luckily I had another one (different brand) that I had around the house. The flat head and Phillips are useless. They are strong and would last.....if they were usable. The thickness of the flat head seems ridiculous. And the Phillips head too. I don't think I have found a screw head that would fit. I am about to donate them but, honestly, if they are all made that way...I don't think even the basic of basic projects/jobs could get done.OVERALL:I am very happy with this purchase. Pretty sure if you take all the good tools and purchase them individually you would still be saving with this purchase. Great for first time homeowners or perhaps a kid getting his own apt/place for the first time on his own. I know that professionals would probably bash this product but, again, I am happy with my purchase which is why I gave it an overall 4, not 5, stars.

Cautiously optimistic with it
The zipper on the bag broke the first time we used the tool kit. I'm trying to be very careful with the tools so that nothing else breaks. This is my first set of power tools ever so I don't know what to expect. I can't tell if the difficulties I have with it are because my apartment walls suck or the tool sucks

Don't think you're buying a carpentry kit— and you'll be happy
Look, the reviews on this almost turned me off and that's pretty depressing because this set is solid. I bought this set because my wife and I have a place out of town and I hated lugging my proper tools on a plane or in the car. I worked construction to pay for school before I became a software dork so I'm no stranger to a real Dewalt set and corded Milwaukee Hole Hawg right-angle drill for boring through studs before a rough wall inspection. Here's the kicker on this set— the drill bits are trash— three of them have broken off in studs for me and it's been 2 weeks, the first one broke on the first use. If you're buying this because you need to drill some holes in studs and want to have a set, don't bother. The hole saw bits aren't a lot better (but at least haven't broken on me), and the wedge hole bits are just 'fine'. The screwdrivers are way too big and kinda stupid for day-to-day use, they're closer to 'Fisher Price screw size' than anything you'll ever be using in real life.On the other hand everything else is perfectly acceptable for 'home tool set' quality— ratcheting screwdriver has been awesome, the pliers, hammer, bit shank, and tips for the shank are great. The bit shank doesn't have a collar to hold a screw but that's to be expected for the money. The drill itself is perfectly serviceable. Again— you're not going to be drilling concrete or doing a whole drywall install with this thing, but if you're hanging pictures, a few TVs, maybe screwing together some cabinets it's just fine. It's lightweight but powerful enough and functional without being overkill. Overdo it with this thing and you'll strip it out. Don't be a hero.Remember the price you paid and you'll be happy.Downsides: the flathead and phillips screwdrivers (not the ratcheting one that accepts any tip with the shank) are uselessly large— better as prying tools than for driving normal sized screws. Use the ratcheting screwdriver and the shank with a tip and you've got every screwdriver you'll ever need. The drill bits are bad. Just... honestly throw them away when you buy this; I broke two in a stud immediately and it kinda screwed up a project, no pun intended.Upsides: Lightweight and serviceable drill, 20V B&D family (I'm considering the stick vac and sander for our vacation house), great ratcheting screwdriver, sizable collection of tips, pliers are good, small tape measure has saved my ass a couple times when I lost my proper Stanley one (and my wife likes the little one better), carrying bag is thin but very usable and fits everything perfectly. The hammer is light (wife likes it, same deal) but just fine.Ideal buyer? If you know the limitations of a *home* tool set and need to restock your house after a move/divorce/breakup where you left your tools with your ex and know you'll backfill the things that break/don't work later.Less than ideal buyer? If you think you're getting a kickass drill and tool kit for a steal to start at your electrician's apprenticeship next week. Move along, spend some more cash. If you're a serious home project guy/gal and (also) think you're getting a steal on a pro set— this is not that. If you're a big tool nerd and want the latest stuff on the market— still not you.People who left horrible reviews? My best guess is former pros or current ones that were looking for a all-in-one kit for cheap. This set will kit you out for everything you want to do at home as a HOME user, for not bad cash. If you saw 'home' in my review and thought "well maybe this will be enough...", you should be looking elsewhere already. If you saw 'home' and thought "great, my 'X' just broke so I'll get this to replace it", look elsewhere. If you saw 'home' and thought "oh yeah, I have an apartment, hang pictures, mount shelves now and then, and sometimes want to screw some IKEA stuff together", pull the trigger here.

Good to Have Around the House
The media could not be loaded. I bought this drill set so that I could drill some holes in our desks to hide the cables.Pro: Cost, drill works fine for drilling the hole in wood, assembling IKEA firntitue, drilling pilot holes and drilling holes in drywalls for anchors decent power for the priceCons: Cheap plastic feel to drill but what do you expect? Battery life (after drilling four holes in our desks it needed to re-charge the battery. Wish the carry bag had some compartments inside but again for the price what can you expect? The best way to summarize this drill is that it’s a good drill to have around the house for small DYI things like assembling furniture, cabinets or drilling holes in drywall. Not intended for every day use. If you’re using this drill quite often or plan to build a tree house or fence then get a real one like Milwaukee, Dewalt or Makita. It’s like going to Burger King. A Junior Whopper and a real Whopper both fill you up but which one is more satisfying?

Great bundle for small homes and projects
I got this when it was on sale on Amazon.ca, better deal than Home Depot (where I first saw it). Comes with a variety of pieces and a little storage tote bag. Not too bad for under $100 for everything you get. Good for small homes and renters for easy fixes around the house. I can see myself using this for small DIY projects. Great gift for beginners.

Great product
Great kit with all the basics. My only complaint is the case. There are no side pockets or a middle divider to help organize the contents.
