Package arrived on time and in good shape. I was able to connect it to my old hard drive that fell out of my old laptop. Plugged it right in to my new laptop. Gave it a couple minutes to "think." And was immediately able to see all my old pictures and videos. Buyers be informed that this is only the cable. It does not come with the enclosure for the hard drive. But nonetheless, the cable does its job. Very impressed. Very pleased with my purchase. Definitely recommend for anyone needing files off of an old drive. 5 stars. And it's inexpensive!!!

This is a perfect answer for cloning HDs and SSDs.Cloning via USB is slower than cloning a slave drive, but it is not necessary to open the computer, install the slave drive to be cloned and reboot.Instead, just plug the drive to be cloned into a USB port, open your cloning app and clone as usual. That's it. Simple.

I bought this to pull pics off of old laptop hard drives, workes great.

While it hasn't broken yet I can easily see this falling and breaking it's so flimsy. I'm pretty sure you could bend it by squeezing it. The product works for what you need it for just be sure to keep it in a safe place (box or something)

I used this item a day after I purchased it to capture an image of a SSD when the laptop it was installed in died. It works great!

Kurz und knapp, es macht was es soll, in meinem Fall als hdd Adapter für die Enigma sat Box. Adapter wird direkt vom OS gefunden und mit treibern versehen. Für Timeshift absolut ausreichend. Fazit: Günstig und gut.

Ich habe das Teil gekauft, um ein Notebook mit einer SSD nachzurüsten, also um die SSD für die System-Migration anschließen zu können. Dabei habe ich festgestellt, daß die Verbindung ziemlich schnell war, weit schneller als alle meine USB 3.0-Sticks. Deshalb nutze ich diesen Adapter jetzt weiterhin, indem ich meine alten internen 2,5 inch-HDDs als externe Festplatten nutze(ich erstelle und bearbeite Musik und muß daher haufenweise Sicherungskopien anlegen). Also ein wirklich großer Nutzeffekt bei Einsparung von Geld, daß sonst für externe Festplatten draufgegangen wäre.Noch ein kleiner Tipp, weil ich in einer anderen Rezension gelesen habe, daß die über diesen Adapter angeschlossene Festplatte nicht erkannt wurde: Sollte das der Fall sein(auf einem Windows PC), rufen Sie START>WINDOWS VERWALTUNGSPROGRAMME>AUSFÜHREN und geben in die Befehlsspalte "cmd" ein. Jeder hier benannte Befehl wird mit "ENTER" abgeschlossen. In das Fenster, welches sich daraufhin öffnet, geben Sie "Diskpart" ein. Wenn Diskpart gestartet ist, geben Sie "list disk" ein. Es erscheint eine Auflistung aller Laufwerke Ihres PC. Suchen Sie die Nummer der neuen Festplatte(erkennbar an der Speicherkapazität) und geben Sie "select disk>Nr. der neuen Festplatte<ein. Wenn diese ausgewählt ist, geben Sie "assign" ein. Damit ist der neuen Festplatte ein Laufwerksbuchstabe zugeteilt und sie wird unter Windows erkannt. Schließen Sie die beiden Fenster "cmd" und "diskpart". Ihre neue Festplatte ist jetzt Teil Ihres Systems.

Il prototto di per se è un buon prodotto, molto versatile, e di veloce utilizzo. L'unico neo è che funziona solo con dischi da 2,5" e non supporta i 3,5" e 5,25"... altrimenti sarebbe stato il Top!
