exactly what I was wanting. A good pen that writes smoothly and has some weight to it. It is not a HEAVY pen but you know your holding a pen. The barrel is very comfortable and balanced. I don't get fatigue when use it, nor do I have to press it into the paper to write. The finish on the barrel and cap are flawless with the gold accents looking like they will hold up to use. Now this is a luxury pen so you have to treat it as such. Don't just throw it around and stuff it in a drawer or it will start to look like a cheap pen. The barrel and cap will bend and dis-figure if handled without care. Great pen for the price.

I liked the 1 I bought so much I bought 2 more for my adult son-in-law and friend for Christmas. For me, it's not too fat in diameter and not too skinny to hold onto. Also, it writes quite smoothly. And the price is fabulous! I'm thinking about ordering a few more.

Beautiful looking pen, nice weight. Problem is that it skips all the time, so much so that I end up using another pen. One day I will go looking for a refill that fits and will write better. ***Update - seller offered a refund which I declined, I like the pen too much. I am confident that with a refill I can get locally, it will be a great pen.

I love these beautiful pens! I like really nice pens; but I don’t want to pay $30 to $50 for them! This is a beautiful pen, reasonably priced, writes smoothly without skipping and ‘you can find refills’! I have purchased all of them over the years, 25 or more, just for myself! I have one in all my journals, ledgers, appointment books and in my purse, on my nightstand and more! I have several journals for writing, studying, medical as well as for projects and documenting things to do and/or phone calls - I have one pen in each one. I gave my son a refillable black leather journal with an extra refill for his birthday, of course I had to give him the black and gold refillable pen to go with it. He loves it! I give these pens as gifts all the time because I believe that everyone needs a really nice pen. I have purchased pens that cost between $30 & $50 over the years and would be very upset when I would lose them or someone would ask to borrow it when they saw me writing, and never return it 😩! Or the refills would cost an outrageous price. But you can not tell these pens from the $30 pens - and most of the time you can get them on sale for about $8, they are very sturdy, and you can get nine refills for around $12 dollars. A win, win situation. Oh, by the way, I have a very weak right hand from past medical problems that needed occupational therapy - so I can not write with a lightweight pen like a bic, I must write with a firm, sturdy pen! But, I tell you the truth, writing with such precision and with such beautiful pens - makes me WANT to write! I enjoy writing in my journals every day! So go ahead and take a chance and buy one - any color, because they all are beautiful! I know, because I have them all! And buy one for someone you love - they will surely appreciate it.

A rollerball type of pen , felt good and smooth in the hands , writes well and is comfortable to hold...enough to give to all of my friends...

You just have to be careful to buy the same ballpoint refill when you run out of refills (Not rollerball refills). Writes smoothly. The original ink cartridge does not last long (about a week) and you have to write with the pen at 90 degrees. By the way, a perfect substitute refill is Mitsubishi Pencil Signo RT UMR85N.24 Gel Ballpoint Pen Refills, 0.5.
