San Marco Coffee Flavored Ground Coffee, Egg Nog, 1 Pound

For Black Forest Cake:Before I start, must say San Marco makes THE best flavored coffee, partially because there’re so many to choose from. But mainly the coffee is just genuinely enjoyable and good. The price is not bad either, considering you’re getting a full pound of deliciousness while others (☠️🦴💀) cost way more and taste awful. They do use artificial flavors so not every single one taste genuine or perfect.This is my third San Marco coffee thus far (Strawberry Nut Cream and Key Lime Pie were others. Oh, and accidental decaf Chocolate Orange), and I enjoy them all..With this one yes, the cherry flavor is overdone with some artificial-ness, like bitter maraschino juice/grenadine. However, that bold, spot-on chocolate cake under flavor,taste(?) is divine and pairs well together.Black Forest is one that I would avoid drinking black. It is very bitter and the cherry is heavy. Does not require much sweetener though. This might be a good one served cold on ice. However, the bitter cherry will be more overpowering without a cream.Honestly, it’s more gratifying with a bit of basic vanilla or dessert (like sugar cookie, even something like Rice Krispy Treats) creamer to help bring out a weak taste and balance the more bitter flavors.I’m a creamer freak so I usually go overboard with it, but even if you prefer yours black, just try a bit -or half&half or almond milk or whatever.The sweeter the better for me, so I alternate between Monk Fruit and 1+tsp sugar.If you don’t mind a strong maraschino cherry and have a weak spot for chocolate, you’ll love sipping your cake for breakfast.

The flavor seems to vary from person to person. My favorite so far is German Chocolate and Cherry Vanilla. Not sure what flavor the coffee they want the review on is.

This coffee is OVERLY flavorful and either has to be diluted with another coffee or only a small amount can be used, so the coffee strength is too low. It could not be returned, so I am using it up 1 part to 3 parts with unflavored coffee, where it is palatable.

The coffee is not bitter but I cannot taste the orange flavor which I had hoped to get

I am so disappointed. Had bought years ago and was so good. I bought pitashio flavor and noticed immediately it had no aroma other than plain coffee. And of course no extra flavor or taste at all. It's good coffee but I think someone totally forgot to put the flavoring in it. :(

This coffee is absolutely Devine, I even bought some for my mom. Flavors I ordered are Raspberry chocolate truffle, butternut, and butterscotch. So far each one has been exquisite, and I am a coffee connoisseur. Not really 😅 but I am extremely picky. This coffee is smooth and about a medium roast, it offers bold accurate flavors as promised. No bad aftertaste at all or any films left on the tongue. The aroma is very satisfying and strong when brewed leaving your house with that luxury coffee house smell. My new favorite coffees. Can’t wait to try more flavors! Thank you San Marco!!!

Coffee flavors are not as strong as I wanted but not a bad buy either.

Ordered the double fudge brownie coffee. Great chocolate flavor and smooth coffee taste with no bitterness. I will try this brand again.
