Metagenics Thyrosol - Vitamin and Mineral Supplement to Support Healthy Thyroid Function and Stress Related Fatigue - 90 Capsules

I found out nearly a year ago that I only have half a thyroid. I have had symptoms of low thyroid for years (thinning hair, always cold, lower than normal body temp, low energy etc) but I have had multiple full panel thyroid tests done and my numbers are always in range. I took a fall of my horse and broke some bones 1.5 years ago. My CT scan showed that my thyroid is literally missing the entire left side (😱) and also had a nodule on the right side from it overworking itself to compensate. Due to the extreme injuries I had that day, this finding wasn't mentioned to me by the ER staff, and I didn't learn of it until a doctor read my health notes nearly 9 months later! Wow!Well, as shocking as that was, it made total sense, given all my symptoms I was dealing with! I immediately began to research and I decided to try this supplement. I want to support the thyroid that I do have, and feeding it the nutrients it needs to create the hormones I need - just makes sense. Metagenics is a wonderful brand. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. I chose this supplement because I get anemic during my pregnancies and my midwife recommended Metagenics Hemagenics and it always fixed my iron levels ASAP. Anyhow, after I started taking these, within two weeks innoticed that I wasn't always cold anymore. I stopped having to wear socks *all* the time to keep me from being cold. Started feeling comfortable without a blanket when sitting down to watch a movie. It was strange, but awesome! I think they give me more energy as well!I take just one pill a day, which is less than the full dose, and makes this bottle last me about 3 months. I ran out around Christmas, and due to all the extra expenses that month, I didn't reorder right away. By the end of the month I was FREEZING all the time again, super low energy again. I could not wait to get more, and literally ordered this supplement again the first day our January paycheck hit! Within a week of starting back on it I stopped being cold all the time again. This experience proved that it was certainly helping! I will definitely stay on this supplement!! And maybe I should try taking more than one pill a day and see what else might happen! I definitely recommend it!

Great quality and safe glass bottle.

Got my thyroid tested and it came back sluggish. I felt yuck, I was tired, I was gaining weight.Took this vitamin.Thyroid test came back better, not perfect by any means, but after two months, much better. I also lost a bit of weight, and have a little more energy too. I hope that it keeps helping the longer I use it.

I've been on this supplement for over a year now and when I don't take I can tell. The quality of this product is above average and I'm praying I never have to move back up to ArmorThyroid.

My TSH levels are low/borderline but per MD, not needing help. However, when I take the Thyrosol as advised on label, I have more energy and feel more alert. Quit for a few months once to assess this and decided I need it.
