Silk Road Internet Address & Password Logbook (removable cover band for security)

This is a pretty color and seems good quality, I bought many to give for Christmas gifts. It says on them they are $7.95 but the price I was charged by Amazon was $8.99. Adds up when buying as many as I did, I didn't realize Amazon charged more than they are actually worth!

I really like this book; you can put a lot of information. I have two of them. I would advise you write in pencil . My information changed often and it would have been easier and less messy, if I used a pencil.

I’ve had a black password book from this company for many, many years. I was thrilled to find out they are still in business and have fun printed booklets and other items as well. I bought this because it was time to update and tidy up my password list. My other book I bought years ago is still in very good shape. It was just that I had erased and crossed out so much it was getting a little messy.

I needed to up date my email address given all the times we need to change passwords. Hopefully it will last more than a couple of years.

It is nice, but I should have read the dimensions. I like a bigger book so that I don’t have to write too small.

Item arrived very quickly. Just what I needed for my internet Usernames and passwords that I usually forget right after I create them. Hard cover for minimum wear and tear. Elastic strap to keep it closed and can also be used as a bookmark to easily access the page that I’m using. Great size to help store it nicely in a desk drawer. Alphabetical tabs to get to the page I’m looking for quickly. Extra pages in the back to store software and computer information. Great for yourself or as a gift to someone like me that is always forgetting web addresses, User ID’s and passwords of websites that I use often. It also helps to use pencil to write in it so that you can update your info after changing a password or when a website makes you change your password every month or however long they give you. Does not have writing on the front so no one is able to know what you have written in it without actually opening it and reading it, just incase there’s prying eyes that want your information for less than honest purposes.I wouldn’t change anything about it and if I absolutely had to pick something, the only thing I would ask is to have more varieties in color or pattern but all that comes down to is personal preferences. I was given one just like this many years ago. Many businesses are gone now and my needs have changed so some entries are no longer needed. But, the biggest reason for replacing this is that everytime I turn around a password needs updating. Scratch this. Add that. I'm running out of room on many pages. Life was so simple before passwords became necessary. (May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the homes of phishers and scammers.)

This book is fabulous and completely under-sold by the description on Amazon. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it.I couldn't see clearly if the 'label' was a sticker that could be removed or if it was part of the book itself. It is in fact on an overlay card, so removes leaving a pretty front cover with no text on it. The front cover is also embossed and spot gloss printed, which gives a beautiful texture, feel and look to the item. There's a bar code sticker on the back which easily peals off leaving an attractive but completely un-marked book.There were no photos on Amazon of the inside pages, so I wasn't sure what to expect. A lot of similar books had images which helped, so I assumed this would be the same - indeed it was, but this would have been helpful to show on the product description.It's a small book so the space for writing is not massive - it's certainly something you need to write small, neat and tidy so you don't get your passwords in a muddle. There is a section at the back for other computer info and settings, a notes section and a section at the front with advice on IT security. It's also spiral bound so the pages turn easily.The purple elastic band around it means that you can slot in other pieces of paper without them falling out and it keeps it neat and tidy.I bought this as a present, and it was a little more expensive than some really cheap versions, however, I am most pleased with it as it is good quality and very attractive. Well worth it and highly recommended. I think I need to buy one for me now...!

I would have given a 5* review but 2 months into using I’ve found some of the pages are not printed as clearly as they should be. To late to send back as I’ve already started to use it.

looked ok until you opened the pages and the pages were stuck together and the punch holes not quite right so apart from prising the pages apart the page do not ,sit flat. my old one is in much better shape but sadly not much room to put new email etc in. Very disappointed

This product arrived undamaged & on time. It is very well made & small enough to be kept in a handbag or briefcase should you desire. I was unaware there was such a thing as a password record keeping book but I'm very pleased with it.

This is my second book, the last one got a bit messy so I am rationalising entries - tip use pencil so that you don't have to keep crossing out when the password changes.
