RecPro 1" RV Vinyl Trim Insert | UV Protection | Roof Trim (100', Black)

Fits the trim as intended - measure your existing insert as there are 2 sizes (at least). Originally, I thought sliding it in was the way to install. Didn’t work for more than a couple feet - to much friction after that. Pinching and placing in the track does work and is very fast. Have some caulk handy to seal the top fasteners/ attach points. May want to check the channel screws for caulk touch up prior to inserting this. On our RV, the lower fasteners/ attach points are not heavily caulked except around the covered screw to allow drainage. Check yours before caulking there.

If you have an rv that is several years old , YOU NEED this item. It is very easy to use, exact fit , inexpensive , makes a weatherproof cover for the trim screws and looks . like brand new when you are done

Great replacement for out 5th wheel. It’s nice and flexible and was a breeze installing. Hopefully it last longer then a year unlike the factory installed trim insert

It’s a great fit, and it is easy to work with, BUT after 6 months one 15ish foot section has lost about an inch on each end. The smaller sections have shrunken less. They were installed so it lined up perfectly with the track they’re on. So plan ahead! You can always trim off more because now I have to cut a whole new length of this stuff

Not knowing what the original manufacturer specifications were for my travel trailer. I was hoping to find something to replace my deteriorating seam trim that was close to OEM dimensions. The thickness, size & texture was an exact replacement! It was soft enough to bend & fit on the curved corners and stiff enough to feel like it was robust for durability. Very pleased with this purchase!

This product worked perfectly. I've installed it but not yet road tested it, but it seems like it's going to hold out. Watch a few videos to see how it slides into the channel. Fits well.
