I got these grout bags for installing clay tile flooring. I figured they would be a lot less messy and wasteful than trying to float the grout into the thick joints. But that project is on hold for the winter... They are very thick and bigger than I expected, so I was impressed. To test them for this review, I used one to put some silicone caulk into a very tight place where a tube or caulk gun would never fit. I figured the caulk would be more viscous than grout, and hence a reasonable test of the strength of the bag. Worked out great! I cut only a tiny bit off the tip since I needed a small bead, so more force was needed to push the caulk thru. No breakthroughs or tearing at the tip. I would give these 5 stars if I had used them for the intended purpose with similar success. But since I didn't do that, I am giving only 4

Well, not much to say but they fit in the actual bag and you can chunk these liners saving you from having to try to clean the grout bag out.

I ordered this item to help me fill some gaps and repairs (tuckpointing) on my brick chimney that I've put off for a couple of years due to the cost of having someone else do the work. I used sand-based brick mortar in these bags, I doubled them up and filled 6 of them at a time before carrying them to the roof. They did a great job of putting the mortar where I wanted it, then smoothed the surface with a grout tool. Looked great at a fraction of the cost of a mason. Don't try this at home without the required safety gear and necessary skills to do the job. Good product.

I have bought these bags three times , ok, I get it maybe bad batch first round, then the second ones came with holes as well! Surely, third times a charm, nope….same thing not sure what’s going on
