Etched Moth Moon Spirit E1008 Selenite Charging Plate, 3" diameter, Ethically Sourced from Morocco E1008

This is an etched disc of satin spar selenite. As far as metaphysical attributes go, it is said that satin spar is good for setting intention, but not necessarily for cleansing or recharging other crystals. Satin spar is a variety of selenite, but the raw/natural variety of selenite that’s said to be best for charging/cleansing is more transparent and less satiny-or-cat’s-eye looking. The two kinds of selenite are often sold interchangeably — not out of malice, but just because the difference between the two types isn’t widely known. The satin spar disc I received looks different from the photo because it is cut “across the grain”, so the surface has more of the spotted appearance of a Dalmatian, rather than the traditional satiny/cat’s eye appearance of satin spar, so the etched artwork doesn’t really show up very well. I’m still glad I bought it, but I ended up finding some natural selenite slabs elsewhere for charging my stones.

I can not even describe the craftsmanship and quality of this lunar moth selenite plate. It is just perfection. It has a beautiful clear energy to it that does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would give it and CrytalsAhoy 10 stars of I could!!

Less fine detailed and smaller than I thought, but still very nice. The engraving is deep enough to be sturdy since selenite does scratch. Overall happy with the purchase for the price and I'm in the market for a larger selenite slab for display purposes. 🔮
