Not for everyone, but then nothing ever is.
This is very strong tea. It is strong in terms of aroma, strength of flavor, and oh may I stress again the key factor here of aroma. The smell of this tea will be overwhelming to some people, and amazing to others. "Smoky" is the word used on the box and frankly, that's good enough a descriptor for me. It conjures up memories or likenings of just about anything involving fire, or fireplaces, or camp fires, or even just the general season of autumn as these things will all involve the smell of smoke. I could picture this tea really hitting the right mark if consumed after spending a long day outdoors in the cold weather. It's a well-made tea. The flavor comes through, the sediment is quite low, the aftertaste is small -- it's a top-shelf product. Just know what you are getting. If you ordinarily drink Darjeeling or Earl Grey and you cannot imagine anything being stronger, then this tea will knock your socks off. Or if you have a hypersensitive sense of smell and are bothered by anything rising above the presence of crackers and bread, then you will probably be overwhelmed by this.Or perhaps you're like me, and you've consumed enough tea to float a battleship. And you've come to a point where you would like to try something new from time to time because, well, life is short. In that case, I'd say give this a try. It is different and it is unique, but it is also well-made and coherent -- there is a method to the madness, as they say.Good luck to you, my fellow tea drinker.

Smooth and flavorful decaf tea
The Taylors of Harrogate Decaffeinated Breakfast Tea is excellent—rich, smooth, and full of flavor without the bitterness you sometimes find in decaf teas. It brews a nice, strong cup that tastes just like regular breakfast tea, perfect for mornings or evenings when you don’t want the caffeine. The 50 teabags are good value and come well-packaged to keep the tea fresh. Definitely a great choice for anyone looking for a quality decaf black tea.

For the Price $ is Good.
PSA UPDATE: Please RESEARCH MICROPLASTICS concerning teas packaged in teabag form. Also, this tea has doubled in price since this original review was written. I now feel differently about most teas in tea bag form.As some of the other reviews noted, there are a couple of bags out of 50 ct box, that were not sealed securely.Yes, I got extremely fine chopped tea leaves in my tea (3-4x) out of 50 ct. I don’t really mind that, to be honest, I can deal with it and still enjoy my tea, which I drink out of a tall glass. Most of those *renegade* leaves stay at the bottom of the glass for most of my drinking experience.Even with the loose tea, I can drink it, as it is so fine, that it doesn’t snag in your mouth in any way …it goes right down. ..…For the price point, it isn’t that big of a deal to me, because the tea and jasmine flower is well balanced having a delicate, yet very flavorful. There is no bitterness as some jasmine teas that I have had in the past.I enjoy it every morning with soy milk …enhances it’s smoothness … maybe that’s the key, I don’t know.UPDATE -MAY 28, 2023Just received my second order of two boxes. There isn’t any loose tea coming out of any the tea bags in this order. All 100 tea bags are perfectly intact.UPDATE - July 31, 2023I have now received my third order of two boxes. I am happy to report that this order, also had NO loose tea outside of the tea bags due to a faulty seal on the teabags. All 100 tea bags are perfectly intact, as they were also in my second order. Soo …pretty good deal in my book. ☺️UPDATE - September 12, 2023I have now received my fourth order of 150 tea bags (3 boxes) of the Jasmine Tea and again, all 150 tea bags are intact and individually sealed securely. Just keeping record. I should remember to take a photo before/unopened and after/opened to demonstrate the truth of that. Needing to conserve storage space in my pantry, rather than leave them in their original packing/boxes, I transfer all my teabags to an airtight storage bag.I will keep buying this product, but this will be the last update, unless something changes. Cheers 🫖☕️

Decent taste
Tried this brand for the first time, the price was decent and the tea is acceptable. Decaf doesn't brew as strong as regular black tea but if you have to have decaf this is a good option.

High quality, each bag can be used twice, good value for money
I compared 4 different English breakfast teas: Stash, Twinings, Teavana (Royal English Breakfast, purchased from Starbucks,) and Taylors of Harrogate. [resident of Pacific Northwest, limited to 1 cup of caffeinated tea per day; per teabag: 1/2 cup boiling water, steep for 3 minutes, stir in1/4 cup of evaporated skim milk, add about 8 oz. liquid nonfat milk, zapped in microwave for one to one & 1/2 minutes, sweetened with stevia & monkfruit] On a one to 10 scale, Stash: 5, a little more acerbic than the other three; Twinings: 6, nice mild flavor; Teavana: 7; Taylors: 8; Teavana and Taylors bags can both be used twice (the second time, it's decaf and the flavor is less pronounced,) but the Taylors brew stands up to the milk and sweeteners a little better*. Taylors is the only tea that comes as unwrapped sachets in a roll, it's easy to separate an individual bag, but they don't have a little string and tag attached to each one. I had an empty metal coffee can with a plastic lid that was large enough to hold the box, so I put it in there. From an ecological point of view, the elimination of string, staples or glue, a wrapper for each teabag means less waste, & I suspect that it keeps the costs down, per serving, it costs about the same as Twinings, and less than Teavana. *the only advantage/disadvantage of the stronger tea flavor is that I am motivated to brush my teeth after breakfast.

Excellent jasmine tea
It’s delicious. I love a green tea with jasmine. I had been buying a bottled tea at my local store. But honestly I got to thinking I could buy bags of the tea so much cheaper. And this is but the taste is even better than the bottled tea. It’s my little afternoon splurge that’s just for me. This tea is smooth and not bitter. Just an all-around great flavor
