Honestly it would depend on how much the child is into baseball and their size. My grandson is 7 and has liked baseball since a young age. He has a good ability to throw and catch. He loved the glove and plays with it all the time but he’s at the age where the glove fits just right. I would be concerned about a child 2 years older that it could possibly be small. Maybe if the child is smaller in size it would work.... **Q: My son is left handed dominant. Will this glove work for him?** A: My grandson is right hand dominant and the glove fit on his left hand which would not work in your son’s case. Contact seller to see if they have a glove for the right hand so he can throw with his left. **Q: Is this a good brand and glove fot a boy age 5 to learn to play tee ball?** A: I believe it is. The glove is pliable and the ball is soft, making learning how to play fun and not painful. I was really impressed with this toy for the price. I do recommend. **Q: What material is it made of?** A: Well I'm not exactly sure what it's made out of but it's not leather. I can tell you this, my grandson got it when he was 3 and loved it and still plays with it and at 4. It's good quality and the best thing about this , is the ball. It's just like a major league but soft. So if you little guy or girls misses the catch there is no bruises. I definitely recommend this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Franklin Sports MLB Youth Teeball Glove and Ball Set - Kids Baseball and Teeball Glove and Ball - Perfect First Kids Glove - 9.5" - Franklin Sports MLB Jumbo Foam Baseball Bat + Ball Sets - Kids Oversize Foam Baseball Bats + Soft Baseballs - Indoor + Outdoor Youth Baseball Toy - MLB Team Baseball Bat + Ball Sets - Franklin Sports MLB Unisex-Adult MLB Team Logo Soft Baseballs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/209028962-mlb-youth-teeball-glove-and-ball-set-kids-baseball-teeball](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/209028962-mlb-youth-teeball-glove-and-ball-set-kids-baseball-teeball) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
