**Q: Interesting this says it's 230 thread count but pacific coast's site says 300 count.  does amazon get different pillows to sell?**
A: My pillow, which I received in Dec 2014, says 300 thread count. Perhaps Amazon is using an outdated description.

**Q: I have neck and shoulder pain as I'm a side sleeper. Will this pillow be good to use?**
A: I believe it would be a good pillow to use if you have neck and shoulder pain and sleep on your side.  The pillow is firm and supportive enough to keep your neck in a comfortable position.  It is also flexible enough to shape to conform to individual preferences.

**Q: So is it made in the usa or in china?**
A: So it's filled in the USA with imported materials? What's the difference that's still made with imported China filling, right?

**Q: how long do they stay pliable? i used 1 all last summer...my fav, but now it seems to have gone "hard" no matter how much i try to plump it up.**
A: Mine is still very soft after 22 months. I recently washed and dried mine on normal cycles and it came out beautifully, just a tiny bit damp which dried in a day. You might try tumbling it to fluff it up.

I had read other reviews both here and elsewhere that have stated that this is the best pillow ever. I am now convinced that the statement was very true! The pillow is comfortable and cradles my neck very well. I have some neck issues and so I have to say comfort is very important. I wake feeling refreshed. The pillow needs to be fluffed every day and they do include instructions for throwing it in the dryer to poof it back out. I did not do that since the pillow was not really compressed that much during shipping. I also have allergies and I have no trouble with this. Spend the money and go for it, I think you will say it is the best pillow ever!

Had the same national brand name down pillows for 10+ years. Loved them but they reached the end of their life. Wasted about $150 on two other pillow sets before trying the Pacific Coast pillows. It's like having my old pillows back! Never cheap out and try to replace quality with junk. One of the other pillows I tried had feathers poking out from the pillow. Not only was it uncomfortable but I ended up with feathers all over the bedding and I keep finding them all along the path from the bedroom to the laundry and ultimately out to the trash cans. These pillows are the perfect "fluffy" for a side/stomach sleeper and there feathers are both soft and can be shaped to fit my sleep position. And I like that they are a standard size. No huge queen or king size pillows. How big do they think my head is?

### ⭐ Inaccurate description/ what you pay for isn't what you get

The pillow received is NOT a medium support double down around with 1.5 " gusset like description claims. Received a year's old original double down around which is equivalent to the current SOFT (not medium) double down around. Which can be purchased, by the way, directly from manufacturer for $10 less than this. So, you pay for medium support fill, but actually get an old model with soft support (less fill). Very false advertising.The pillow is good, but NOT what ordered. If you need the medium support and gusset, don't order this. Because you won't get it.
