Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Management System 92-1633

After installing the Cobra slip-ons for my VT1300 Interstate I got the LION growl I was looking for. The stock pipes sound like a kitten and other cars just could not hear me. After 2 close calls I made the purchase. They can hear me now!. You won't rattle windows with it but who wants your neighbors annoyed at you anyway? The only downside was backfire when I did a hard engine break (down shift). I did not care for that so I purchased the Fi2000 fuel injection module. The install was less than an hour (taking my sweet time). The instructions said move the green lighted dial to 0 if you have slip-ons otherwise leave it at 1 if you installed the entire pipe system. The biggest thing I noticed was throttle response! I was impressed! If you are first in line at the stop light give her a good twist and 2 seconds later you will be searching in your rear view to see if anyone is even around. The Fi2000 did take care of most of my backfire...I popped 2 times while downshifting from 4 to 2. 1 pop on the 2 occasions doing this. Before I was getting 3 or 4 pops while doing a hard downshift. So it helped and I think I can eliminate it more if I make 1 or 2 more tweaks to the injection module or just stop doing hard downshifts. LOL. The other big difference I noticed was my idle sound.....much deeper like a Vance and Hines pipe. It also was much more smooth sounding. One of the greatest things about the Fi2000 is that you can make adjustments while your ride is parked (in Neutral of course) and you will hear the bike react to each change you make. Remember it comes factory set so you should not have to make huge adjustments just a click at a time...wait and listen. If you like what you hear give her a ride...and make further adjustments if necessary. Of course if you don't want to fuss with making all those adjustments get the Fi2000 Pro (much more expensive) and it will do all the adjusting for you. Very pleased with Amazon for the lightening fast delivery (3 days) and very pleased with the Fi2000. For me it was a must purchase but I have heard other bikers install slip-ons without any popping issues.

Overall seems like a good product! Right out of the box it was plug and play, took about 30 minutes to install. I left the box tune all i have as of the moment on my 2012 Honda Sabre is stock exhaust with baffles removed and a K&N filter. It was running a little rich with some big backfires while throttling down but after installing and taking it on a test drive it has all smoothed out. Much more responsive with little to no backfire and has leaned out a great deal! Overall very happy with his purchase!

Super easy install, only complaint about ininstall was my bike, not this product, In true cobra fashion, the only way it would have been easier was if someone would do it for you,Worked as indicated by cobra, the lights do there thing to let tou know its working, I did not adjust the pods as there preset for aftermarket exhaust, I run freedom performace, took away the backfire, pop at idle, and fantastic fuel milage, only good things to say about this

A must for aftermarket pipes and Cobra air intake. Makes my Fury run hard and strong now. You won't be sorry.

I added cobra pipes to my Honda Fury. It sounded like a sewing machine. Im heard now before I'm seen. Bike ran rich so I added this processor. Wow what a difference. I can now go 162 miles compared to 150 miles . Fuel light came on at 120 miles now at 132 miles.Runs and sounds great ! !

Finally got a few minutes to install and that's all it took, very easy. Also surprised at the difference it makes, not dramatic but does make the engine more responsive. Used the factory settings too.

I got the cobra fi2000r digital fuel processor on the 3/5/2010 it was to install & easy tune on the motorcyles I would recommend this product.
