I am a professional groomer and have been using this shampoo for 5 years now. It leaves the dogs smelling great and their coat is so soft and easier to brush out. I use it strait up with no dulision, its the only shampoo I dont dilute. I think it cleans and softens better strait. A little goes a long way.

I have an Irish Wolfhound whom I love, but when we go camping she gets filthy. The normal sized shampoos at the pet store only last two washes (we double wash) so I buy my dog shampoo by the gallon.This shampoo has a fabulous scent. I usually avoid fragranced shampoos because often they are just covering the smells, but that is not the case here. The shampoo lathers up nicely. We use a sprayer and it rinses as well as other shampoos I've used. I do feel that this gets her hair cleaner than other shampoos, and it seems to nourish her hair a little more. Granted, they have wirey-ish hair anyway, so it's not like the texture has changed, but it does seem to be healthier.She didn't have any itching or other issues from this shampoo.One thing that this doesn't have is a pump top. Usually this is included with a gallon size. The issue is that the opening is larger than my other jugs so the pumps I have don't fit this jug.

My black pug mix his soft fur that needs to be freshened up for smell occasionally. I generally do NOT like fragrances but this ACTUALLY smells like a vanilla milkshake to the point where I actually felt hungry after smelling it! IT's truly surprising and I wonder if I can use it on my hair?? This will last me a long time and I think buying the gallon is wise because pet shampoo is very expensive, for a whole gallon of this deliciousness I consider it a very good value. All I am thinking is that it would be nice if this came with a pump top because that would make it easier to use.

This shampoo is thick when it's undiluted. The shampoo is free of perfume which is good for dogs since intense perfumes can be irritating for dogs since they have a strong sense of smell. Despite this the shampoo is good at cleaning away bad odor. The shampoo lathers extremely well, just a drop's worth of shampoo (when it's undiluted) goes a long way. I prefer it to be undiluted as the thicker formula makes it easier for me to wash my dogs. This also rinses clean and easily. There is everything to like about this dog shampoo.Definitely a good value since one jug can be used for a very long time.
