Seller refuses to provide a list of serial commands to control the scanner... Returning... I recommend TEEMI scanners as they provide the information requested.

Very well made. This is the best bang for your buck with scanning capabilities. Make sure to read the manual with different codes to scan before using. Does inbound and outbound scanning.

Very simple set up... just plug in and it is ready to use. The manual was great for adjusting settings like the volume of the beep. The normal sounds level was way too loud for our place but the low volume is perfect! Compact size that doesn’t take up too much room and scanner head is easy to adjust to different angles. Very happy with the purchase!

Very good buy….works well and fast

We tried using this for our election so voters could hold their own driver's license to scan. It was too sensitive and would attempt to scan multiple times before the voter moved it away from the scanner...this caused our electronic poll book to not register the scan until they scanned it again and got a single 'beep'. We will NOT use this for another election. Too confusing for our voters. We will use this for our absent voter process.

The product works as described and is reasonably priced.

Got 2 of them. Worked instantly outbox the box, without having to install any drivers or software. Open up a text editor and scanned all the qr and barcodes on my Amazon package to test, even my drivers license Data matrix! Responsive, easy. BUT I need to use multiple scanners on one PC, so decided I needed it in USB COM/Serial mode - so I changed the mode. But it took a while for Windows to auto-install the USB Serial drivers. Eventually it installed the Prolific USB Serial interface drivers on its own which is great! I can now connect multiple units to 1 PC and have a way to differentiate between each one! I tried scanning QR codes off my phone screen (full brightness) and Laptop screen but none worked except for only1 or 2 “low-res” QR codes for certain payment apps only, which is why I give it 1 less star. Would prefer if it could scan any QR on any phone.

This item works fine when or before your computer goes idle. If it sleeps or sits too long where it turns off, then you literally have to unplug it from the USB and plugin. 50% of the time it does not come back online right away, and you have to do it about 2-3 times to get it working again.

No es lo que esperaba, funciona similar que una pistola de escaner, no se le pudo poner los códigos de diversas formas. Entonces es mejor comprar una pistola de escaner que este porque sabemos cómo y dónde colocar el código y con esta hay que buscar y esperar que capture el código mucho tiempo.
