Leveled out my 2014 F150 just right - but installation ain't easy!
This kit is great and fitment on top of my struts went just fine. I'm glad I went with the 1.5" because it actually ended up leveling out my truck. I think the 2" spacer would've made the front slightly higher than the back which I didn't want due to the occasional weekend trailer towing. I consider myself pretty strong in most DIY work and this project is definitely do-able, but you absolutely must have the right tools and a decent amount of experience working on cars/trucks. Just because you have a 17mm socket doesn't mean it's the right length socket, or wrench, etc. The kit comes with a list of tools needed but I found it wasn't comprehensive. Things I wish I had to make the job easier: a lift, a quality 1/2" air impact driver, and larger variety of socket/wrench sizes and lengths. Yes this would apply to most auto work but you know what I mean. The most challenging part is avoiding tearing up brake lines when the control arm falls and you're trying to get the strut in/out. You absolutely must remove the brake caliper and hang it out of the way. If you don't you are risking damage to your brake lines which could cost you a tow plus more than it would've costed to have these installed for you. You might be like me and forget, find yourself in a bind holding it up, while trying to tell my 7 year old how to bring me a bungee cord...what color Daddy? Can I have this one? Just bring it to me! (sweat beads fall...). As a shade tree mechanic using manual tools, and a couple of procedures I wouldn't brag about...overall this took me about 7-8 hours in the garage. I also went to Precision Tune for an alignment the next day and it did indeed need adjustment. So for anyone in doubt go ahead and assume on that expense as well, or you'll ruin your tires pretty quick. Also be sure to watch a few different YouTube videos on installation so you can get as many tips as possible. I did enjoy it overall and always take pride in doing things myself. Total cost was just the kit, alignment, a little blood, sweat, worry, almost some tears too...but if that doesn't sound like fun to you, then I highly recommend asking your buddies for a recommendation on a good shop. It's ok to support your local mechanics too.

Just Right
This is my second go-round with MotoFab levels, and I’m just as happy with them as I was the first time. I chose the 1.5” kit for my 2022 F-150 XLT Sport, and it did exactly what it was advertised to. After install, it left just under an inch (approximately 7/8”) of rake, which I wanted. I had a 2” kit installed on my previous F-150 and the nose sat slightly higher than the rear. In my opinion, you don’t want your truck 100% level. Some rake is necessary for towing and hauling, plus it’s better for fuel efficiency. Here’s my 2 recommendations for those purchasing this, or any leveling kit: get professional installation and get an alignment after installation. Most average joes will not have the tools needed to do this job, and even if you do, there is a high risk involved if you mess anything up. And anytime you change the suspension geometry of your vehicle, even slightly, you should get an alignment done. Typically you can find a mechanic shop that will do both.Overall this kit is not only great, it’s a great value (I purchased for under $60). The ride quality is just as good as before, and the truck looks MUCH better with the front end lifted.

Great fit and did the job on 2012 F150
So here is the real deal on the product, it is awesome and fit perfect. It raised the truck 2" and made it look perfectly level without any modification to the rear suspension. Not sure why people give the product anything less than 5 star, it fit perfect and super easy to put on the strut. Wish people would rate the product and not the packaging or install.NOW, the install is the trick. Watch a you tube video and don't try to be quick on this. Loosen the upper control arm and stabilizer bar link. This will save you a lot of head ache and give you extra clearance to remove the strut. Believe it or not the most difficult bolt/nut to break free was the bottom one that holds the strut. Ford decided 9000 LB torque would be appropriate. My impact gun wouldn't budge it, but a little PB Blaster and a 5' cheater bar did the trick. Removing the strut is not too tricky, but putting it back with the block is a little more fun. All in all it goes smooth, just be patient and you will love the results.

Need to replace the upper control arms
The quality of the spacer is very good and installed easily. I do need to change the upper control arms because the control arms and upper ball joint knuckle contact the springs when the tires drop when going over bumps about the size of a curb. Have to decide if I want to do this or just remove the spacers.I am going to contact the company that makes these to get there opinion on this issue. I'll post again after I complete the fix one way or another.

A+ kit! Great price.
I bought a 2017 F150 which had a 2.5" leveling block. I wasn't comfortable with the upper control arm or CV axle angles. I purchased the 1.5" kit to relax the angles and still have the front end raised a bit. This kit is a true 1.5 inch lift and the angles are much more acceptable. Truck still has some rake. My son is a Ford tech and did the install for me. He also complimented on buying a quality kit. Said he's seen some crappy one come through the shop. Truck looks good and I'm very satisfied with the Motofab kit. Their website has them for $74.00 same thing here for $49.00

Perfect
I wanted 1.5” lift so that I still had a 3/4-1” rake. Looks great very happy with look. There are some installation videos that are a little easier than the directions that come with it. Overall about a 3 hr install and needed alignment.
