A well made toaster and looks good too!

Can't make toast!
I bought this elsewhere, not Amazon. We have the Artisan toaster and kettle. Both are hugely over-priced products that don't work. The toaster never made evenly-toasted bread, even when new. Now, it burns half the slices while the other half is uncoloured. The elements are poorly-designed and implemented, and what's a toaster with poorly-working elements??? If you buy this toaster, you're paying for the KitchenAid brand-name, not for a quality product that works. Do not buy one.
