I’ve tried other almond extract brands before, but the flavor was never as clear or rich as Watkins. This one has a strong, natural almond taste that really stands out in baked goods without being overpowering or fake. Just a small amount adds the perfect touch, and it blends beautifully into everything from cookies to pancakes.The ingredients are simple and clean, and I love that it doesn’t have that artificial aftertaste some others do. Honestly, the price isn’t much higher than comparable brands, but the quality is noticeably better—totally worth it.It’s Watkins only for me from now on!

I started buying Watkins vanilla a few years ago. I normally would purchase McCormick, and that is still a great product, but the price was crazy high. Watkins is a much more reasonable price - approximately $1 per ounce - and I think the flavor is excellent. It is real vanilla (as was the McCormick I previously used) and the flavor is great. Definitely worth the money if you want a quality vanilla to use in your baking.

I use this Wilton clear vanilla primarily for decorating sugar cookies. Keeping icing bright and white is important. Traditional vanilla extract tends to tint royal icing a beige or off-white color, but this clear version keeps everything looking crisp and clean.Flavor-wise, it's definitely an imitation vanilla, so it doesn’t have the depth or warmth of pure vanilla extract. That said, it still adds a sweet, pleasant vanilla scent and taste—especially once mixed into icing or baked goods. It’s ideal when color matters more than complexity of flavor.Another plus is that the bottle has a narrow spout which helps control the pour and avoid waste. A little goes a long way. I've had no issues with separation or off smells, and the shelf life is awesome.Overall, this is a must-have in my bsking toolkit. This product is exceptional. It makes such a big difference in the flavor of baking. Any recipe that calls for vanilla flavoring is going to taste better using this flavoring. It is very distinct and slightly sweeter than McCormick or other varieties and is particularly delicious in pound cakes.

I’d like to add this to my milk before I put it in my Breville frother. It’s not really strong, but it also does not leave any aftertaste so I’m happy about that.

So I decided to try this clear vanilla because my regular vanilla was making my frostings a bit darker. The smell and taste are amazing!! My frostings/cakes taste amazing and aren't dark anymore. This is my go to extract when making vanilla/strawberry cakes, etc. It is easy to use and a great value for your money. I did not have any issues with bottle leaking during shipment. I will reorder this extract once I run out. Highly recommend!!

This is really nice clear vanilla. I use it for my cake frosting, it does not discolor my colors I add in to it. It has a nice taste, and the bottle is easy to use. It is perfect for my baking needs! No leaking when I got it.

This mint extract is great. My husband and I use it to flavor our water and it gives it a nice minty taste. It is also great for helping with sinus headaches. Whenever I feel one coming on, I drink some water with this mint extract in it and an hour or so later my headache is gone.
