Q: Can you turn the beeping off

Yes, you can turn off the beep and/or the click when rolling in your preference settings (found on pages 11-13 of your user's guide). Press Set and then Mode. Press the W/LxW key to turn the beep off. To turn off the click when rolling, Press Set and Mode and press the M+ key until you see "roll" in the top screen. Press the W/LxW key to turn the click off.

No, there is not a rubber wheel available for the Calculated Industries 6135 Scale Master Pro XE. It is meant to be used on paper plans only.

You can just use the measurement feature from within Adobe Acrobat to measure pdf plans.

Q: Will this measure map property acreage if the road/property boundaries to be measured are curved? If not, what tool will?

It can calculate area only by length and width of what is being measured. If the property has a curved line, this tool will be of no use, unless you can make enough rectangles to fill in most of the curved area. You would need AutoCad to calculate the area of irregular shapes.
