Perfect for the application, and they save you money
Okay, this is a basic item. It is two pieces of bent metal, six holes in each, and 8 little screws. So why 5 stars?I'm not debating the price or whether or not it should be included with the switch. You can judge the price for yourself, and if you wanted it included with the switch you can just order the TEG-S24G which includes these brackets. I ordered the TEG-S24DG 24-port switch and these brackets because it was about $20 less than buying the rack mount version for the identical product. So, these brackets do have beveled screw holes, so when you screw them into the switch they self center and line up perfectly. Just screw them in loosely until you have all 4 in (per side) and then tighten. They are sturdy, they look good, the finish matches the switch, and they'll work on other products too, although the finish might not match. Simple, sturdy, and as attractive as a rack ear can be. Five stars, as they were essentially free (over buying the rack version) and work as advertised.

Good adapter - fits perfectly
I have read other reviews about the price for these adapters being pretty high for "just some bent pieces of metal" and I suppose it may be. But I found these brackets to be high quality. They are strong and sturdy, painted with a thick and (what appears to be) durable paint and the dimensions and the mounting holes are all perfectly aligned. Sure, I could have made something similar in my workshop, but would the mounting holes have all perfectly aligned and would the dimensions have been exact? Probably not - and my personal time is worth more than the price of these adapters. Go ahead and spend the extra couple of bucks to get these and mount your switch in a 19 inch rack. The price is worth the time savings and the aesthetics of a professionally made set of brackets.

They are great for what they are, but I can't give them 5 stars...
I'm sorry to TrendNET. I just can't give these 5 stars. They are just a basic bent piece of metal with some holes drilled it them some finish applied, and 8 tiny screws..The reasons it earned 4 stars...#1. The holes etc... are where they should be. No rude surprises, everything lines up.#2. The finish is dead on fine. No big noticeable flaws.#3. The metal is of sufficient strength to support the switch fully populated with cable.#4. The holes to mount it to the switch line up in the normal rack configuration, I can also turn the ears 90 degrees to wall mount, or 180 degrees to push the front of the switch proud of the rack if I want to. This mounting flexibility means I have mounting options even if I don't have a rack.#5. The holes to mount it to the rack are exactly where they belong, sized to accept standard rack screw sizes, including M6, and 10-32 hardware.#6. The screw holes are slightly elongated to accomodate manufacturing variances among rack vendors. Some rack mount tabs are not so slotted, and I have in the past (old Netgear) had to elongate the screw holes to accomodate particularly APC Shark Racks. The reasons I cannot give this 5 stars is because.#1. They are so stinking basic a 12 year old in Jr. High shop class could get these right.#2. They should have been included in the package with the switch in the first place. It IS annoying that I have to pay extra for the rack mount hardware for something designed to be, well rack mountable. Yes I know a LOT of switch MFGs are doing that now, and TrendNET is a lower cost MFG, but this is just an annoying corner to cut... I have used switches and rack / desktop mountable network devices from Netgear, SMC, TP-Link and they all included the rack mount kit. No clue why TrendNET decided to leave them out of the switch packaging.

Worked with dlink switch
This worked perfect for my 24 port gigabit dlink switch. The holes lined up perfect. It came with screws to mount it to the switch but not to the rack, just keep that in mine. It also only worked with 1 screw on each side to mount it to the rack, the screw spacing was a little short for the second screw. It wasn't a big deal as it's a pretty light switch.

Will fit Netgear JGS524F if you dont mind some modifications.
I went into this knowingly that my switch wasn't on the list and another reviewer commented does not work for Netgear JGS524F.Seeing the one from Netgear is discontinued and no aftermarket ones available, I had to try this. With some cutting and redrilling the holes on one of the ears I was able to successfully mount these onto a Netgear JGS524F and install into my rack successfully.4 point mount match the 4 holes on the Netgear switch perfectly.

Worked perfectly, but overpriced for being two pieces of metal
They worked perfectly for what I needed, but way too expensive for what they are!For whatever reason, mounting ears are very expensive, and I can only feel like they are expensive because they can be. All they are is two pieces of bent metal with holes drilled in them.I need to flush-mount a switch to a panel, and because the switch was missing keyholes on the bottom, these were necessary. They worked great for this purpose. The paint finish is good, and the metal is sturdy.

Not for Netgear JGJ524
I purchased for my Netgear JGS524 but did not work since I found out after the fact that the switch is 13" instead of 11". Since it was my fault not to measure the switch first I am not going to bad mouth the product. The brackets did mount perfectly to the switch though. I read some reviews of people complaining about the price the $10 bucks is steal since the ones for the netgear on Ebay are almost twice the price.
