Great as a pain reliever on serious injuries
A good brace for pain relief. The adjustable strap around the bicep provides sufficient compression and traction to prevent the brace from sliding, and the material is soft enough on the skin all day long, BUT! make sure to have an arm sleeve to prevent rash from developing during movements. Just make sure to hand wash and air dry them first before wearing or you'll suffer from a new material smell. It's definitely not a new car smell.I paired my shoulder brace from Grade 3 clavicle fractures (multiple pieces) and Grade 2 rotator cuff with the Amazon Choice arm sleeve set. A combination of these kinds of injuries are not something you can just enjoy life on a daily basis. The brace helps to make my shoulder feel less painful than most recovering days without it. If I have to measure the pain, it's between 5 and 6 out of 10 during movements. This is coming from a person with extreme high pain tolerance and not use any pain medication. The brace reduces the pain level down to 1, may be 2, out of 10 around the rotator cuff areas during movement. It reduces down to 0 without movements instead of 2 or 3 out of 10. This also reduces the range of motion by around 10 percent, but the support increases around 50 percent with it on compared to not having it at all. Too much range of motions can exceed its capacity to help. The downsides:The first thing is the biting. Like most indicated, the cuff strap around the arm will bite into your skin after an hour of use if you're going clothless. My suggestion is to wear the brace over your clothing with a sleeve going past your bicep. If you don't have a medium sleeve clothing, get an arm sleeve. The next is the abrasion. Yes, all braces, be the shoulder, elbow, or knee, there's an element of rubbing that cause abrasion during movement. A sleeve is needed, either from the clothing or a sleeve by itself. I highly suggest the standalone arm sleeve with good compression. Having compression helps with blood flow through the area for faster recovery.Third is the strap. I'll gladly pay a bit more if the strap is reinforced with a 0.5in or 1in polyester strap to increase the durability of the chest strap. The current chest strap design is soft, but it's too flexible, causing the strap to stretch too far and too fast. This reduces the amount of durability of the strap. I can understand the kinetic potential of the strap from the generated during movement, but adding two reinforced strips on each 1/3 ends of the strap will retain the kinetic potential of the strap while increasing the overall durability. It's a cheap investment to gain a bit of relief from the pain. It won't last long, but hopefully it will last long enough to allow me to recover for the next four months.

Rotator cuff pain relief
I recently injured my rotator cuff again. This is what I needed. I tried ace bandages and several odd ball wraps , nothing stayed in place or didn’t work. This works well and a great price. It is very big. I’m a big dude , big chest 58”and arms 21”, many years at the gym and I was worried this wouldn’t fit as I wear 3xl shirts. It’s almost too big for me . It just fits me with straps pulled completely tight. It works great for me and helps with that terrible pain associated with rotator cuff injuries.

It works, technically....(3.5 Stars)
It works but isn't made well, however with some redneck engineering I am able to get some use out of it and make it slightly more comfortable. My issue: had surgery on a torn superspinatus in 2018 and recently reinjured it. This support keeps my shoulder from moving in and out of socket as much. There is still some movement, but it is more tolerable and less likely to cause more inflammation. (Side note: I am on Meloxicam and Flexeril for pain and spasms so you may want to factor that into the equation when considering this product.-The under the arm ring issue:They gave the ring that holds the strap under your arm too much play so it'll spin which twists the strap. The fix? Simply sew (or staple in a pinch) the backside of the ring's main strap so there isn't room to spin. It will still pinch a bit, but it does what I need.-Second issue: I'm a big guy and the XXL is too big for me.i am 6'2" and 250 lbs, but I am fit with a spare tire. When I put this on I used the entirety of the strap, so in order to tighten them further I had to shorten them. I could have returned this, but I didn't want to go days without this much needed support, hence the diy repairs.

Good product and helps with mobility issues from rotator cuff surgery.
This support has been a game changer for me dealing with rotator cuff injuryIt has allowed me to regain movement and support thought difficult to put on by one's self. Very well made product and does the job getting done what you need to do with a bumb arm.

Eh
The brace was good at first. I used it for three solid days and it was good, however after that, the strap buckle on the bicep started to turn and pinch my skin big time. The support and pain relief was good but I'd rather deal with my should wr pain then the constant pinching of my skin. I have welts and bad bruises now that are very sensitive now.
