Music City Metals 03758 Ceramic Electrode Replacement for Select Ducane Gas Grill Models

My Ducane gas grill had slowly fallen into a state of disrepair over a near two decade run. I bought two of these to replace the old starters that wouldn't work. They work great and in fact one works better than the original that always had to be tried several times before it would actually ignite the gas.

Direct replacement for my originals that had rusted apart after 13 years. Once I had them installed, I to fine tune them (they come 1 to a package but I bought 2) for proper distance of the electrode to the burner. Too close and it won't light. To far and it won't light either.

I could have used some instructions on how far the anode should be from the burner in order the get a good spark. It was a try - adjust, re-try and re adjust until it worked and lit the burner.

Fits fine. Works well. It took a little study to see how it goes on. 2 of them restored the igniter function on my Ducane grill.
