It wasn't too expensive. It functions as it shouldI'm using it for adjusting the supply reel drag, take up tension, and pinch wheel pressure on a vintage Dokorder tape deck.

Difficult to judge, but I want to be fair. I requested the wrong weight range (my error), but this seems to do the job as advertised.In my application, I need to measure the tension on a spring-loaded drive pulley, and after ordering, I realized that I should have ordered the next higher weight capacity. I'd order the equivalent product again (in the correct weight range) if that assessment helps.

This was cheap and came fast. It's perfect for our use- elementary and middle school science experiements/demonstrations.
