Mystics & Miracles: True Stories of Lives Touched by God

I owned this book some time ago. Loved it so much and recalled many good stories from it often. I have it to my godson and have missed it ever since, so I decided to buy another. It's a keeper! Did you know fish came out of the water to listen to Saint Anthony preach? So many saw this happen, thousands were converted that day.

Interesting accounts of many saints. Easy reading. Great gift for teens. Everyone should read, shows the miracles n ordinary life of many saints. Easy reading.

I almost didn't finish this but I did learn a lot about some of the saints. I didn't know that they were all martyrs, poor things. I don't know why but my favorite, St. Bernadette, is not in this book. But, if you want to know about some of the saints earthly lives and the miracles they performed you might enjoy this.

I had read this book some years ago and so I purchased it to read again. Glad I did. Bert Ghezzi's insight on the saints is refreshing.

Absolutely Fabulous

I chose this book because of my interest in the lives of these friends of God, This book did not disappoint, The author strove for accuracy .He made these saints come alive for the reader.yes I would recommend this book,

Love that this book shares so many types of saints. mystics, miracle workers and marters. It demonstrates that each had a unique and special relationship with God.

This is a wonderful quick overview of several Christian mystics. I liked it because it covered both male and female mystics, and each story is short, so I was able to read it as an inspirational story to my children in the mornings during our spiritual devotionals.
