Beautiful images that are all labeled with the name, artist, and year they were created. Very crisp and good quality prints of the classical portraits, frescoes, and mosaics. The text accompanying each image is simple for children, which allows a smooth transition into deeper discussions about the Church and God as they grow and learn.

This is a beautiful book with many different artists represented from oil paintings to tile mosaics. Very clear and simple design, easy to read for my first grader and enjoyable. I definitely recommend it.

This book is amazing. The artwork is stunning and my son just loves reading it every night! I love index at the back with all the painting information for more in depth research. It is the first book I have come across that teaches religion without watering in down. It is a great way to introduce children to the faith and am so excited to hear my son read along with me.

If you're interested in exposing your children to rich, Catholic art, this is the book for you! I was as eager as my little ones to see what picture came next! Historical (many paintings dating back to the 1500's). Catholic (also including a couple of more modern images from the 1900's, such as the Divine Mercy image). And covers the entire alphabet. We love this book. Gifted to my little girls today on the Feast of the Holy Angels! They enjoyed it!

Beautiful art work for my little one to enjoy. The pages are regular paper, so my 18 month old is not yet trustworthy to flip through herself, but she loves this book! Real artwork and not wacky cartoons. A truly lovely read

Finally! A book ostensibly for children but without bland, generic, cartoon drawings. All people including kids appreciate beauty in truth -- the teachings of our Catholic Church. Divine Mercy, Eucharist, Mass, Saint Joseph, etc. Nothing offensive, liberal or heretical in the text or photos. Beautiful art, high quality reproductions. Bought for a baby shower.
