Neodymium Disc Magnets with Double-Sided Adhesive, Strong Permanent Rare Earth Magnets, 1.26 inch D x 1/8 inch H, Pack of 12

At first glance they look like they wouldn't be too good, but that's easily dashed once you try to separate them or as in my case, I managed to slip the washer off and have them stick together.I tried a knife between them to pry them loose, impossible. The knife couldn't get between the disks and would be drawn to the magnet. Finally I had to twist and press and once they came off they immediately snapped back into place from 1 ft away leaving me bewildered as to their stregnth.I bought them to hold 2 metal file drawers together. Work just fine in this capacity.This could be difficult for the eldelry to manage as it took considerable effort to pry 1 disk loose from the stack.Buy with confidence but keep away from phone, computer or other light electronics as these will definitely affect such items even from within the tube at a distance of about 1.5 feet in any direction.Totally worth it. Would purchase again.

OK - - so you can see the 2 fridge magnets we had. Both had 3/4" - 1" ceramic magnets on the back - neither of which was strong enough to keep the magnets from sliding down and off the refrigerator door, let alone even hold up a sheet of paper. Both had fallen off frequently enough that the ceramic magnets were now fractured. SO - - we removed the ceramic magnets and epoxied these 1-1/2" Neodymium magnets in place. That Fixed it ! These magnets stick really well and removal is easiest by just sliding them off the edge. I only gave 4 stars to "easy to remove" because these guys really stick well and you should not try to Pull them off, rather you need to slide them off to one side or the other.

I use these for several projects around the house to mount things to non magnetic surfaces. If you are using these for young kids, I'd look elsewhere because they may not be able to pull the magnets apart. I mounted an old ipad to our refrigerator and thought I would have to use my crowbar to remove it. Very stong!

The pictures accompanying the product show it used for making a knife block but the magnets are very strong and the magnet from one tier actually pulls the magnet and adhesive out from the tier below. I recommend the screw in ones if you are using these for that application.

Wow these magnets are ridiculously strong. Probably too strong for what I need them for, clay figurine fridge magnets. I'm sure I will find another use for them.Warning be super careful with them, again they are extremely strong and can pinch or cause harm while pulling apart.

Make sure you know what size you need. These were actually larger than anticipated, but I was able to make them work...just a little more strength than needed.Very good product.

Used for a magnetic spice rack. I used some 3M High Adhesive tape to mount them and it worked very well.

These are perfect for magnetic knife organizers due to the surface area. However I have to double them up because the thickness I need isnt sold on Amazon for a reasonable price. They are packaged well which helps prevent breakage and to seperate a magnet from the stack.
