Absolutely Worth Every Penny
Winsor & Newton is a high quality brand, no doubt, but I still questioned whether watercolor markers would produce the kind of effect, blending and color vibrancy I wanted. Happy to say these markers have performed above and beyond my expectations. The colors are stunning. They blend with other colors just as easy as pan watercolors do. They dry just as quickly, yet still respond to minimal blending after the fact. They work well with all the mediums I have tried so far. With the marker the color lays down exactly where drawn and does not bleed out until a wet brush is applied and then the effect is pure watercolor magic. Clean up is, of course, extremely easy as it’s watercolor. I highly recommend these markers to anyone who is a fan of watercolor. They have taken my outdoor watercolor experiences to a non stress level. It’s so much easier to carry the case of markers and my kit of brushes, small bottle of water and watercolor pad and just sit outside and paint. Relaxation at its finest.

Beyond Basic
This is the basic set and when they say basic, they mean it . I think it’s all the colors you would need to get started and maybe more. All the basic colors that you would expect to find in watercolor. I swatched them just now, and the color is deep and vibrant, and they’re very juicy. Could not be more pleased.

Easier to sketch and paint any level of detail
They don’t eliminate the need to understand watercolor painting fundamentals.

These are Absolutely Fantastic
Winsor and Newton manufacture high end art supplies, and this is no exception. These super juicy brush pens, with beautiful vivid colors, are designed with dual tips, a fine bullet tip and a well constructed brush nib. These are great for drawing, lettering, or whatever your artistic needs.

The colors are very nice and vibrant
I have mixed feelings about these markers. I tried using them in a drawing previously and also while doodling, trying to find the best way to use them but am not finding how and when I should use them for fear of ruining my paintings. I need to practice more until I find the best way to apply them to a painting. I did some swatches with these markers, as shared in the pic... Dry on dry on the left side and I wet half of the box to show the color dispersion and vibrancy when wet. They are nice colors. On the wings of the butterfly (left side) I used prussian blue to make the wing form and added yellow lines inside with a line of sap green. I wanted to see how the colors mixed when I passed the brush with water. On the right side I used Alizarin crimson for the shape, lines of Cadmium yellow hue and Cadm. Red hue inside. I can see the original lines for all colors and yet they mixed well. I just don't think I like ALL the lines showing, even when I try blending it out alot to make the lines disappear (nope, not happening). So am not sure what I would use it for. But if you are not bothered by that, these colors are very nice.

Don’t act like watercolor
Great color and variability in opacity but they don’t blend well. It could be user error but these are not very beginner friendly.

More than I expected!
I was looking for a great watercolor marker that was lightfast but there aren't too many on the market. I picked up the Sky Tones set as it has some of my favorite colors in it. One of the biggest problems with watercolor markers is that they usually retain a line under the dissolved paint after you use some water to move them around. From what others have said, it depends on the paper you are using them on. This is no surprise as even when you watercolor with paint some paper lifts well and some do not. Surprisingly almost of the underline was dissolved within 3 passes of a waterbrush on cheaper Canson Mixed Media XL paper. I didn't scrub it to see if it would dissolve further and I haven't tested it yet on "good" cotton paper. The pale pink lives up to its name as it is very pale but you can build up a little color if you wait until it dries between layers and give another single pass so you do not fully reactivate the layer underneath. These are easy to throw in a travel bag and have self contained watercolor paint that you can either put directly on the page and move around and blend on the page. They mix very well and I was able to get nice greens and purples from this set. If you are someone who is looking for wet washes and a ton of color choices you are probably better off with a watercolor palette but if you want to add a splash of color to your drawings or sketches than I would definitely opt for these. They are exactly what I was looking for and I highly recommend them.
