John believed that God means what He says in the Bible and that we can trust Him to heal and provide for us now as when He ministered on Earth. He demonstrated God`s power openly and expected the person being prayed for to be healed of whatever disease or injury he had.John went all over the world teaching and preaching about God's salvation through Jesus. The ministry and power of the Holy Spirit were very much in evidence.He creates in the reader an excitement and desire to do the things of Jesus and to have a dynamic exciting intimate relationship with Him. It was quite a fascinating read an d ma ;) especially me want to minister to the sick as well and get to watch God heal them!

As stated in the description, these are exerpts from John G. Lake's more in depth stories. A very encouraging book on God's miracles as recorded by a man who understood God's authority.

I read the one review on this book and the customer said "Like the story in india where he spied a mother leaving her crippled child to die in the mountains(where he was praying unseen) he goes to the child heals him and he hides as the child leaps up and runs after his mother."I purchased the book and when I reached the point where he tells this story it gets to the point where the lady has left and he is about to go over to the boy. I advance to the next page and discover the beginning of a totally new story about a woman in Spokane with a paralyzed arm. (I think the reviewer also meant South Africa rather than India).I contacted Amazon and they had me delete it, they refunded the money and then they had me reorder it. It still has the same flaw. This is near the end of the first chapter. The Customer Service agent told me to record this flaw here in a review.I am using Kindle for PC.I love this book so far and I want to keep it but I would like a corrected copy.I have read many Christian books about mighty men and women of God and this has got to be the most powerful man of Christ I have heard of in modern times. I highly recommend anything he has written for those seeking inspiration and a closer relationship with Jesus.Update: The minute my review went live I came here and removed some comments that could have been misunderstood concerning the current state of John G. Lake's International Healing Room Ministry. I know people who work in them and administer them and they are dedicated people who accomplish many wonderful healings. The original concept for IHRM was very aggressive in that Lake would send teams out with the instructions to not return until the person needing help was healed. There are not many people around these days who feel they can give their life over totally to Jesus and abandon all other demands into the hand of God. That is sad but it is the way it is.Imagine that if only 10% of American Christians good go forth with the power and dedication of a John G. Lake how much better our nation would be. There certainly wouldn't be a huge controversy over health care ripping our nation apart!

This is a great book and first hand experience on the power and working of God through divine healing. It was not in any chronological order but the power of God was present. Reminding us that God is not moved by time or performs miracles based on any chronological order but he requires an obedient, dedicated, holy spirit filled individual to move with and through God to perform miracles. Not only did I purchased the kindle version but also the paperback copy. Thank you to the contributors of this book that helped put all the materials and accounts of Mr. Lake together, it is no doubt that Gods guidance was also upon your hands.

This is a great book of various healings and miracles in the life of John G. Lake after death and illness almost wiped out his entire family and his sister brother in law and wife were all on their deathbeds simultaneously, one went to a Christian healing ministry for prayer and was miracously brought back from the very brink of death. After witnessing the evident power of Jesus Christ to heal, He went to each family member in turn and they were all healed. News got around and people from all over the globe came to them to get prayed for and tens of thousands were healed. These are the stories of some things he was emboldened to do after his faith was ignited. Like the story in india where he spied a mother leaving her crippled child to die in the mountains(where he was praying unseen) he goes to the child heals him and he hides as the child leaps up and runs after his mother. (great book but BEWARE it is word for word the same as "Adventures in God" (which costs more)And that book dosen't have this story.

I enjoyed the words of John G Lake as he reported on the power of God and the mighty healings. Your Faith will increase as you read these testimonies of Healing and Salvation!
