Better airflow and easier to install then previous fan.
Replaced 13 year old fan, also a Manrose CFD200T: the timer control appeared to have failed. The model supplied has three speed selections (not 2 as described). Its easier to install as the brackets can be installed then the fan clipped in. To service just two screws have to be undone to release the fan from the bracket. The two 'funnels' which attach the hose to the inlet and oulet of the fan are separate from the fan, so the hose fixing (tyewrap or duct tape) can be left in place if the fan is moved to clean it.It moves more air than the previous model and the noise is lower pitched so its not so obtrusive. The previous fan had a back draft shutter. This one does not, but this does not appear to be problem.

Tight to terminate cable
Generally very happy with fan but the only niggle is that the terminal block is a bit tight to get the wires into. Just be patient!

Great fan, almost silent - except...
Lovely piece of kit to install in the loft. No problems with the installation, and it runs almost silent in the loft. You can't even tell if it's on or off. But ... I fitted it with rigid round ducting all the way through. The fan may be silent, but the volume of air it's shifting makes a rushing noise at quite a high noise level. I would recommend that you fit this with flexible insulated ducting, or fit a noise attenuator, or some kind of baffle system in the pipe.On the plus side, it clears out the damp air after a shower in no time.

Quiet & Powerful
This was recommended by my bathroom installer. Works very well, moving more steam than the old fan, and its much quieter.

Great for the money
This is a geat inline fan, easy to install and set either high or low speed. I set mines to high. I should have maybe postioned further away from Bathroom end, Slightly noisy, but still quieter that a wall mounted fan, but existing wiring was tight. Works well and clear my bathroom very quickly of steam.

Nice fan but poor connector blocks
Fan seems well made, reasonably quiet and seems good airflowOnly three stars, which might be harsh, because the connectors are minuscule!!!1.5mm really is the max dia they will take.. but I seriously recommend using flat cable 1.0mm and certainly not flexible. No matter how you twist the cable braids together they still fray as you fight to get them into the connection blocks, which apart from being small are also very short, so getting them in, keeping them in and then tightening the tiny clamp screw… wow! Patience is defo a virtue! If Manrose would improve this feature - 5 starFor those interested in changing speed - that is simple and basic ; simply lift a pair of bridge type contacts off whatever pegs they are on ( mine were on max as delivered) and reposition on to the required pegs. Very clear diagram to show which are which speed.

Very quiet, but still powerful.
Fitted this fan in the attic above the bathroom, vented through an external wall. You can hear the air rushing in the bathroom, but it's only on when the showers in use, so not a problem. Almost totally silent in the rest of the house, I could hear the old fan no matter what room I was in.Despite the lack of noise it is the most powerful fan I've ever had in a bathroom, would definitely recommend.

Manrose fan inline
Used it in shower room which was always dripping with moisture it does a great job but you have to make sure that the ducting is flowing at a downward angle or water will gather in the duct
