It's good
I was torn between the Blue Jay and the Valeton 20G as I wanted emphasis on clean tones. The BJ lacks a reverb and the EQ of the 20G. However it has the normal and bright channels which are both nice. The BJ has a warmer tone to my ears so I'm keeping it. I'm keeping the 20G as well 😮 due to black friday deals on both. Both are nice products and worth considering especially if you want to use pedals or just play clean. The 20G has the distortion capacity but I suspect OD aficionados may want more. I do like the Bluetooth on the BJ. Overall the BJ is my favorite.

A useful amp-head at the price of a pedal
Useful for anyone at a 'starter' price-point-- especially if you already have a speaker cabinet. The Bluejay has a bright/warm tone, with a preamp stage that can be readily driven by pedals. The effects loop is particularly helpful, in that you can add modulation / reverb ahead of the power-amp stage. In my case I put a graphic EQ there for more granular tone control than the front-panel controls allowed. Add a reverb and EQ, this little amp lights up a 2x12 open-back cabinet quite nicely. Handy if you don't want to lug your fragile/expensive tube amp around.

OK amp for the money but make sure to use a good speaker cab for the best sound.
I like the price and the build quality seems to be good...so far. I dont know why they call it a 2 channel amp because it is not. Unless they consider the Bright switch to be a channel. I am not sure about the wattage rating either because it is rated at 20 watts but my monoprice stage right 15 watt tube amp blows this Joyo away. But for the money it is a good little amp and it handles effects boxes really good too.

Promotional Video Misleading
Sound quality is nowhere near anything like the promotional video leads you to believe. This thing makes my Gibson Les Paul and Fender Strat sound like cheap $200 guitars (tinny and flat). Not happy with this purchase at all.

Outstanding little amp
Im a steel player and use this amp. It has a ton of headroom and plenty loud enough for small to medium gigs. The tube sound is fantastic. Love this little jewel .!!!!

Love it
Absolutely love this head and the effects loop really sells it. I have this, a moose little monster BM, and I used to own the Orange Micro terror. Imo, this is the best of the 3.

Great Sound in a small package.
There is nothing not to like. I have hooked this up to a speaker cabinet with a 12" speaker. Sounds great. Everything works as described. Very light, convenient to carry.

Good little amp
Was surprised in how well it sounds for such a cheap head. Does not "sound" like a fender blues junior but does sound great. It also has no "break up". This is a very clean amp. It also takes pedals well. Willing to try other joyo amps.

These heads are awesome!
Great tones from Joyo Bluejay. Running it through a 1 x 12 cab with a Celestion G12K-100, and it's loud, toneful and sounds great with my Les Paul or Telecaster. I haven't used the bluetooth function for very long yet, so cannot comment other than it's working for me for now. I previously had a MicroTerror and prefer this Joyo unit.Cheaper than a Peavey Piranha or Orange Microterror, give these Joyo Bantam heads a go, you won't be disappointed.
