great all-round gloves for those that like to train with them
i'm going to give a review of this product 'in a vacuum' as it were, because i personally prefer to train without gloves at the gym. but i will review this product 'as is' for the purpose of those who do prefer to train with gloves.from a comfort perspective they are great. i ordered size XL and consider myself to have just below average sized hands for a middle-aged male. they fit just right. the fabric material feels nice to wear but is also pretty sturdy.looks-wise they're pretty smart. i like the combination of black & grey and they look the part when you're training in them.so enough about looks and feel. how do they perform as gym gloves? as i said previously i prefer to train without gloves to try and maximize my own grip strength and so on even if that means suffering with things like callouses. but these gloves do help noticeably, as they should, when performing exercises like pull-ups. and because they are fingerless you still have some feel & contact with the bar or whatever equipment you're training on. the padding also provides adequate softness when performing big movements like bench press or barbell military press etc and so far they seem to be holding up well from a durability standpoint.these gloves unlike traditional non-gym focussed fingerless gloves come with attached wrists straps. i'm not sure if these can be used in a way to assist deadlifts or whether they are just for additional support but i assume they are for that purpose as they roll out to a considerable length (see image) that wouldn't really be necassary if it were just for support. i will have to test them out on deadlifts in the near future.as far as gym gloves go these are very good value for the price and i would recommend them if you would rather train with gloves than without.

(Nearly) The perfect gym glove
Good value for money and delivery.Design generally is very good. The fit is good and comfortable, and is made well and of good quality. The wrist wrap-around is brilliant and allows for multiple ways to support and strengthen the wrist, which is the purpose of my purchase.Only negative/recommendation:The padding on the palm is incomplete and really should have been one thicker piece. When doing heavy sets of bench press or over head press the rubber palm padding isn’t thick enough to protect the inside nerve cluster between thumb and index finger fully, which on a heavy rep can feel painful. The palm rubber support needs to be bigger or just one solid piece instead of these 3 smaller pieces. I understand why they have designed it that way, thinking when you grip your hand they come together to make one peace but in reality a lot of people will not grip the bar tight enough.Overall I am pleased with the glove and delighted by the protection the wrist support gives but I would have given it 5 stars if it had a little put more padding for the palm. I would still recommend for the average weight trainer / gym member.

Love these gloves!
This is the second pair of gloves that I have bought. I go to the gym almost every day and like to wash my gloves after as I get incredibly sweaty! I rotate them so I've always got a fresh pair to wear. These are great fitting, comfortable and really help my grip. I use them weightlifting, and whilst on the resistance machines, and I also use them for dumbell and kettlebell workouts. I have even used them temporarily playing hockey to support a thumb/wrist injury (along with taping). The wrist strap is really good and doesn't 'bobble' or curl up like the fluffy velco wrist straps do. After over a year the wrist strap works just as well as it did when I got them.I wash these in a 30 degree wash, along with my gym clothes with ordinary washing gel and conditioner. I do air dry them but they've been through the tumble drier by accident a fair few times and they are still as good as new. I have had my original pair for over a year and they are still in great condition.

Ok for the price, some issues
A solid three stars out of five for these gloves. They're fine for keeping the wrists braced for push-based exercises but the sizing and positioning of the pads create some pinch-points in the fabric, especially in the area between the base of the thumb and forefinger, that cause irritation and would lead to blisters in more intensive workouts. I guess it depends on the shape of your own hand as to whether this will be a problem for you but I've never had this issue with other gloves and it seems to be increased by the pronounced pads on these gloves.Quality wise they're OK too - some threads were loose straight out of the bag and some of the stitching is loosening after only a couple of months of use. I've had worse experiences with well-known brand gloves though, and this is the level of quality I'd expect for the amount of money I paid for them.I'm generally happy with them, but I'm only going to be using them for specific push-based workouts or exercises where I want to brace my wrists where they aren't going to cause the pinching issue. I'll need to get another pair of gloves for general use.
