I wanted comfortable boots that were nice enough to wear to work with skirts or pants. Clarks have been a good choice for me because they are stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced. Lately though, their sizing and quality have been erratic, causing me to return two pairs I'd ordered from Amazon. I spotted these on Zappos but found them for a better price on Amazon. Having read the reviews, I knew their true color was more taupe, just what I wanted. I have now worn them a number of times. They run true to my Clarks size, 5-1/2. (I usually wear 6 or 5-1/2, I have found that Clarks tend to run large.). On the first two wearings the right boot rubbed uncomfortably just below my ankle. However, that went away once they were broken in. So, if you are looking for boots that are stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced, these fit the bill.

I ordered these pair of booties, because they were super nice looking and the reviews were incredible!I found them on Amazon at a much cheaper price than other websites! So that was a plus!They do look sharp! and I get complements on them! I can wear them with almost anything, dresses, leggings, skinny jeans, etcThe only down side, is that they were a bit tight on the upper side of my foot! It took only a week to break them in, though, and I do not wear them everyday, only especial occasions...so I was a bit glad to realized that last time I wore them, they didnot hurt my delicate feet anymore.. . So I will keep them, and I believe this particular style it is to stay aroundfor years to come! Thanks to Clarks for making nice in style shoes, plus comfortable!

While my search for nice black boots continues, I can finally replace my old brown ones. These boots are great. As a previous reviewer stated, they are darker and less camel-toned than the photo. They're a nice soft brown (with blue/gray undertones not red or yellow). They go well with my darker brown slacks. Probably would also look good with jeans or a flowy ankle skirt/dress.These boots are very soft to the touch on the outside. There could be a little more cushioning in the sole perhaps, but they're more comfortable than the boots they are replacing. The height (inseam) of the boot seems to be perfect; I get very little if any chafing on the front of my shin when bending my ankle (e.g. going downstairs). The heel feels somewhat higher than expected at initial try-on. (I will update if it causes discomfort upon actual use.) They even smelled nice when I got them out of the box. So far, I'm pretty happy, and may try these in another color.

I previously bought a very expensive pair of Cole Haan booties claiming to be a comfort shoe. They were very uncomfortable and I returned them and tried these on at the Clark's store and they instantly felt good on my feet. I have a lot of foot problems with arch and heel pain, and these boot felt good all day. I thought it was a little strange that they had leather on the toe and suede on the upper, but overall, they are cute and comfy and a new staple of my winter wardrobe. I ordered them on Amazon for $25 less than they were at the Clark's store - added bonus! I would highly recommend this bootie to anyone looking for a cute, feel good bootie.

Great looking and good fit for my wide feet. I wear a 6 or 6.5 depending on width. The 6.5 in this boot is a comfortable fit. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because these are not grey, as described and pictured. It is a beautiful taupe color, but does not coordinate with my gray coat or pants, as intended, so they have to go back. Also, FYI, the darker shading at the toe and heel is not a photo issue as I thought -- it really is darker in those places, as if airbrushed. Doesn't look bad, and I would keep them if they were actually grey. I will be ordering them in another color.

I am in love with this bootie! I ordered the brown in size 10. I was expecting the color to be a cognac shade as shown in the picture, but to me, it is a dusty, vintage brown and I love it! The toe and the heel were purposely worn down to a shine and it gives the boot character. It has a lug sole for more traction which will come in quite handy in the colder months. The inside sole is adequately padded, making this boot incredibly comfortable. I generally wear a 9 1/2 in shoes but I ordered the 10 because I like to wear my boots with thick socks. I'm so glad I bought this bootie!

Was looking for a good fitting smart low boot. He boot was very nice - heel a little too high to wear with casual wear. I would have liked the boot, except I need a good fit in a shoe and this was just too wide. I must return the boots, I did really like their appearance the rubber sole looked very good to wear in the wet.

Very Comfortable. The heel height is good but the color is not grey but taupe. One of the shoe(right one) is defective inside near heel edge. The insole does not cover the bottom edge and the bottom is a little revealed. I won't exchange this time as it is cumbersome and my foot doesn't feel irritated.

I owed these boots when they first came out and wore them to death. I came across them here on Amazon and ordered again because like I said, love these! True to size, so comfy, great heel and go with everything.
