Very Nice, Hope it lasts.
Arrived today, sooner than expected. First off, there are some marks on the handle by the plug, as per photos. it looks like someone has been attempting to remove the removable connecter without following the instructions, is this a new gun? well there's no other marks or dirt on it so i can't explain it.I tested this on the bench for about an hour and i am very impressed. monitoring the temperature just inside the nozzle showed that at lower settings it runs a little cooler than the chosen setting, maybe by 10 degrees C or so. when you get up towards 125-150 C it is much more accurate. That won't be a problem unless you want pinpoint accuracy for some reason. Overall i was very impressed . The only thing i noticed and its not a criticism, is that at times the fan speed hunted up and down slightly. I doubt this is a fault, I suspect it is the ECU adjusting both the fan speed and the temperature very quickly to maintain the correct setting, A big plus is that the cooling down cycle is good for blowing cool air to set any plastics in shape if you have been bending pipes etc. The case is sturdy and you don't need to take a pic to be able to put it all back in again. the accessory's are great and will be fine for most jobs. It's not cheap, but i recon it's worth every penny if its reliable. If registered within 4 weeks you get a 3 year warranty.

Great quality and Function
A very handy device, shame the price dropped just after I purchased it but I suppose that's life.

Excellent small heat gun for heat shrink tube
Excellent small heat gun for wire heat shrink tubingHas two combined heat/ fan settings.Decent length power cable.Mains powered only 240vLight wait unit and small in sizeFold away wire stand allows upright use of gun and can be clipped away when not in use.Note: Be aware metal end nozzle gets hot quickly and has no shield to prevent burns if metal end nozzle is touched to anything.

Good heat Gun
Definitely value for money. Needed to get some decals off the side of a narrowboat. Came off with ease. Have used it since on other DIY jobs and it works perfectly. Just as good as any expensive make.

Fantastic upgrade
Purchased this to replace my Black and Decker heat gun. All the attachments included are a great addition to an already great product. The heat gun comes in a hard case which also doubles as a stand to secure the heat gun upright for handsfree operation. The heat gun quickly gets up to desired temperature as can be expected and can maintain it for a fair amount of time. The variable temperature adjustment as well as seeing the current temperature on screen is a much-needed option to have especially when dealing with delicate projects.Upon turning the gun off, it enters into a cool down mode where it will blast air through it to cool it down lasting around 2 minutes. In some cases, this may not be convenient to wait before turning it off so if you hold down on the Power button for a couple of seconds it will turn off without needing to wait for the cool down cycle to complete... just don't go immediately placing it back in its plastic case if you choose this route :)My only criticism is there is no backlight on the lcd screen however when compared to my old heat gun not having a screen at all and only having two setting for adjustment, I'm not at all bothered by this.Would definitely recommend this product!

Brilliant, easy to use and very effective
When my wife suggested getting a stripper, I was more than keen. My enthusiasm waned somewhat when I discovered she wanted some gunky gel for the garage door. Having trawled through all the paint strippers available, I thought what about a nice new toy? And this is a pearler. Easy to use, and with lots of good accessories, my garage door paint came off like soft polythene in nice big strips. There were a few stubborn spots but they were no match for this Wagner heat gun. This will keep me interest in DIY for a while - if in doubt burn it!

Broke after 2 hours of use
I previously bought the exact same model of heat gun. It worked well and I had a good couple of years use out of it until eventually the cable deteriorated at the handle end. I tried to source a replacement cable but annoyingly they're not stocked on the manufacturer's website and I couldn't source one on Ebay or elsewhere.I decided to buy the exact same model again but wish I hadn't as the fan stopped working after only two hours. Annoyingly I didn't start using it until outside of Amazon's 30 day return period. The warranty also had to be registered within 28 days so it's a total write-off sadly. Won't be going with Wagner again.

Not for use in Australia
Waited over two weeks for this heat gun, then discovered that the mains plug that comes with this heat gun, is for use in Great Britain not Australia. You could buy an adapter, but that is not strictly safe or advisable for devices that plug into the mains outlet.

Heat gun used for resin and acrylic fluid art
This is my third purchase of a heat gun as I wasn't happy with the first two. This heat gun is perfect for resin pours and acrylic fluid art. It's easy to handle, is light, has two air flow settings, a cool down mode, can sit upright and is stable. Love it!
