This isn’t a clinical book about your period. This is ancient female wisdom that has been lost to us. LL gently guides you through the phases of our cycle, whether you bleed or not. Her collection of personal experience paired with the work she’s done with countless women is priceless. I have never wanted children and feel like I had to ignore this part of myself and live in my male energy. My period was just an inconvenient indication I wasn’t pregnant. As I worked on myself and decided I didn’t want to be on birth control anymore for the health of my body, I was craving a natural flow. But I still didn’t want children so I decided to get my tubes tied. I started keeping track of when I got my period, but otherwise didn’t know what to do.
